After prolonged use in dry conditions this Stihl battery strimmer just wouldn’t work, luckily it was an easy fix that could apply to any make of battery equipment. Thanks for supporting the channel.

Thank you man! Just repaired my Stihl FSA 57 from battery stutter with just some canned air and a whiff of WD40. In those models the motor is on the mowing head-side though. It's just a small electromotor and some gears, so any dust or sand make it too hard for the motor.

Would've helped if you actually showed us how to it apart!! I have a FSA 45 and after taking all the screws out,, for some odd reason the orange cover is "Stihl" holding the casing together!!😂😅

Aha, interesting one. Mt FSA 90 R completely stopped the other month was still under warranty so took it to the dealer and they just put a new motor in it haha. Good Job with the Videos, hopefully when I get a minute I'll start trying to make some too

I just took my Rma510 mower apart to grease the bearings. Turned out water can go through very easily. I have washed it many times two years of owning it.

I do find the battery equipment interesting slowly moving away from petrol. However I found the trouble shooting informative 👍

Have you had any overheating issues with all this sun we've had? I really do enjoy my battery equipment.

I followed your advice. It worked! I feel so chuffed with myself.

It’s great how a bit of lube makes a difference… As regards suppliers of our beloved tools ⚒️ they seem to shirk any warranty work in favour of blaming the user .. Weather has been great and managed to catch up after the crap start to the season ..

I normally find it's dust in the connecting end with the tool

Give me an engine any day and I'll completely strip it and rebuild it, normally do a chainsaw or strimmer engine at the weekend.

This looks like it's for commercial purposes. Couldn't relate it to my garden strimmer. Any way to simplify it?
