The headlamp was ridiculous. BB touts it as a great outdoor headlamp. Not sure it'll ever get used. The A-Tac. knife found it's way straight in to my "trade/give away" drawer. I'm a former Marine artillerist (pull string make gun go boom) and I would never have carried anything like this. As an EDC knife, too gimmicky and large and as a "tactical" knife worhtless. I needed a kinetic rope so I'm happy with that. I especially like the bag it comes in as it's big enough to drop a couple of shackles in there as well. Just FYI, you use a kinetic rope to help you pull a vehicle out of being stuck, and a tow rope to tow a vehicle. This is in my Jeep as I type. The little glowey thing is on my keys. Why not. I'll probably put the BB Mora in my get home bag as a back up knife. Two is one, one is none, right? The tent stakes were ok, but I plan on getting a RTT for my trips as I'm more in to Jeep camping. I'll put those stakes in with my Gazelle tent for when I take my girls out to do some more traditional camping (staying in one place for more than a night). This box wasn't bad (except for the ATAC) but it also wasn't great.

I don't know if coffee should go in a box, but honestly i'd prefer it over a random freeze dried meal. Especially something like this that has an interesting angle on portable coffee brewing

I agree 100% with you here. There is a few reasons I dropped down to pro from pro+ but this is one. It's like the knives are priced with a profit built in for the manufacturer and bb vs. A negotiation for a great knife at a good value. That being said, I keep wanting to pick up that fixed blade in this box. I want to say it isn't worth the 50 bucks they value it at, but I keep wanting to use it. So I'm very happy with the pro box I got. Thanks for the great and honest content.

If you like the Kuju method but prefer milk n sugar in your coffee, check out Copper Cow Coffee. It's Vietnamese pour over that comes with little condensed milk pouches. I would recommend warming the milk pouch up in an armpit or other while the water boils so it's softer to massage and squeeze out. The BB Onyx definitely exceeded my expectations and has been a boon to have around the yard. I know folks love the stakes - I'm trying one out right now on a clothesline. It was definitely easy to lock in.

Re: the A-Tac knife… if it looks like a truck stop knife and it quacks like a truck stop knife, it’s a truck stop knife. This will make the third truck stop knife I’ve gotten from Batlbox in the three boxes I’ve purchased. Very disappointing. Batlbox needs to do better if they want to retain customers.

I dropped Battlbox after 100….they sent me a 40% off coupon so I got the advance box this month…couldn’t be happier. Loved everything in the basic and advanced… They shoulda made that gas station knife part of the basic box and made the battl-mora the pro item and the rope the pro plus….glad they didn’t tho!!!

I'm actually surprised they didn't put the Ghost in an earlier tier and make brand the "Onyx" as Lord and Field with a leather sheath. Suppose that side of things is probably gone. If they had gone with 14C28N, it might have been an even more impressive companion knife.

Coffee isn't just coffee anymore - it's essential OH&S equipment.😂 Thing is though, coffee bags are already a thing. Just like teabags, only with coffee. You still dunk them like teabags. . Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the BB knife. Let's be honest, neither of our expectations were particularly high, were they? . Been saying it for years - knife makers: STOP PUTTING SERRATIONS ON THE BLADE! If we wanted a saw, we'd buy a f*cking saw!

I've been waiting for this video! I wasn't as impressed as you with the Mora knockoff when they could just give us a real Mora. I'm still trying to decide if I hate that A-Tac POS more than the infamous Tekto Elara. Whoever chooses the KOTM for BattlBox must have a fine collection of gas station knives. Even if this was 12C27 (I'd put money, it's actually 8Crwhatever), that is a low-end steel for their price point. Thank you for trying to hold the people at BattlBox accountable to a better standard.

Mate I am currently working in diplomatic security in a hot sandy place and I can tell you first hand I go to venues where they don’t let us in with our side arms I agree with everything you said but it’s just what we have to deal with now I do carry a knife how ever that thing looks cheap and wouldn’t carry that one lol

Unless I had a specific plan to cut a specific artery and keep walking, I wouldn't call that ATAC knife. If I did, I in fact I would use a smaller, wider blade. If I was to get into a situation where I was fighting a man/woman with a knife, I would go in with a longer knife so I could cut the knife hand of the opponent and have a shorter distance to a vital organ in one slice and stab movement. Just sayin'...Dad!

Seems like battlebox is trying to bundle a bunch of items and get away with have at least 1 item be a scam. That way they make more money while screwing over tbe customer. I can tell you these boxes are not cheap so why would you get them if you are not really saving much if anything on buying the items separately.

That headlamp is total garbage. It takes forever to charge and it loses charge when its not in use. From fully charged > not used > hung on a wall > it was dead after 2 days. Absolutely total garbage.
