They chose the rinse mod because it will somehow be connected to next month’s box. I think they chose it because the rinse mod is the cheapest if the accessories. I see that bottle being an advantage over the camel back, because you can put that in the pack’s side water bottle pockets, or latch it to the some straps and use the water tube like a camelbak. This way you would not lose space in your pack like you do with your water bladder.

You know Doc, I bet that if you take the handles on the lids off, and replace them with those worthless looking straps, you could attach the MODL Bottle to anything. Like if you had the flow mod you can turn any backpack with MOLLE/PALS webbing if it doesn't have a specific pouch for a bladder, or don't want a bladder taking up space inside the pack. You also don't need to open your pack to access the bottle.

I like the look of the water bottle. You could put your own filter media in it. Using the spray head drip filter to clean water then boil if needed.

We made an arrow from the Hawk set for demo purposes during our unboxing. Actually works. The Modl company is offering a 25% to BB customers. Without spoiling, BB said that another product would have made other mods with this redundant. But then pretty much everything is redundant at this point. Great review as always.

A couple of useful Everyday items but most is low quality. The bottle and the tarp seem to be good but not much else. The filet knife set I think there are better options out there with less complicated blade exchanger on them. Also there is the size of the kit yes you get the honing steel and screwdriver but just buy one good fillet knife (great options out there in the budget end in great steels like 14C28N) and a sheath with a honing rod (better yet a small fine ceramic stone) and your set. Not many people are going to sit there and take a couple on minutes to change a blade, if its fast and easy then I can see someone using it example "Havalon Talon Fish" it cost less money to. Ugh DD hammocks. Maybe its just me, but I bought one of their hammocks and it was horrible. Used it once and it literally fell apart on me. I've been hammock camping for years. The DD not only tossed me out if I rolled over. The bug net, tore apart. Always look forward to your Craplbox monthly reviews.

I was considering joining BB so figured KZbin research first. Glad I did , maybe it’s just this box 📦 but this looks like a big disappointment. $74 3x3 plastic hammock.. fuck me running. On the search for a better box company .

modl bottle i complained on the forum about the same attachment. Drink mod would have been better also the rinse mod just take a drill and drill holes on one of the sealed caps. Saving money as usual and Currin said wait until next month maybe more mods then send a coupon.

Agreed. The only thing that *might* be worthwhile is the MODL bottle, but it's overpriced and it's accessories are stupidly expensive. This is coming from a Yeti fan. The material MODL is made of makes it way better than the Hydroflask bottles that just dent if you look at them.

With regards to the mottle. Since it opens at both ends one could make an improvised water filter fairly easily with it and to would clean out well also

Doc is right about many things bb is crap, most migraine meds include caffeine, you have to caress the bvm it's like squeezing a tit u can't go full bore nice gentle squeeze preferred oh medicine can be so dirty. As for rubber strap on lmao (dumb joke I ate to many crayons) but honestly I rather use Nite Ize Brand Gear Ties not only USA made you can get a set of various lengths like 18,12,6,3" I honestly keep a multi-pack in the truck. I can’t be too hard on this box I think the rubber carabiners are overpriced but it’s cool they can be tightened haven’t seen too many like that I like the bottle it’s great and easy to clean and can be sterilized in boiling water. I have already used the rinse part to wash my hands and clean some stuff off and I can still drink from the bottle with the lid off like a nalgene. Body wipes are not bad and I see the value of having lightweight cleaning wipes that are sturdy for hunting fishing,camping etc. Arrow set isn’t bad for the price point and not a bad basic item for some folks even as a novelty. I don’t think anyone who actually needs a arrowhead in a survival scenario hopefully doesn’t need really long term durability steel but I could be wrong based on the situation. I only subscribe to pro box not knife of the month because I’m too picky about the knives I like to use/carry. The tarp is a great item as far as quality and various uses, and I have to disagree with some people about BattlBox not being a good subscription. I think compared to last year they have improved the boxes. It’s always a bit of a gamble one person can love all of the items and the next can have no use and not like anything that month. From my experience as a customer for some time I feel like I am able to find a use at least most of items curated by BattlBox. I’ve even used the gas mask in a previous box to clean my shower at home so I wouldn’t have to breathe the chemicals, not to apocalyptic or exciting but it I worked really well. Anyway great video and content keep up the good work doc! Cheers everyone!!!
