Love this box, would have come in super handy last Friday when my brother broke his leg. Some fella commented that this “fad” is going out haha wasn’t aware being prepared for the unexpected was a fad- subscription box or not. Oh well, always gotta be a Joe Knows-it-all in every crowd. L Stuart Look up "SAM Splint's". I carry them in my aid bag. Great moldable splints for things like that.

L Stuart heck yeah brother. Check with your local Red Cross for some basic classes. Also check out @SkinnyMedic on his KZbin videos. But a hands on class is always better than videos. I'd recommend a few CAT tourniquets, kerlix, quick clot, a good flashlight or headlamp, Israeli bandages, medical waterproof tape, gauze in various sizes and a Nasal pharyngeal with lube.

I'm a disabled vet and served as a medic so i like this bag alot.only prob i have with it is that as a designated medic bag it should be marked as such with a red cross.I find that battle box is a very good value some items are over valued but as a rule so far i find that the total value is always worth it in the end i really wish i could afford to get it my self.

Looks like a decent starter kit for most. I'd like to have seen another O-LIGHT with the kit and some kerlix gauze. Great theme especially with today's commonly occuring events.

For the love of god when using a chest seal leave it open on one side unless it has a one way valve . And always mark the time you put on the TQ. And don't give you're pt' s asprin. I dunno how many calls I have been on were people who try to do first aid have given aspirin to a pt that has some type of trauma. Aspirin as a blood thinner.

I saw the led lights for triage. Just wondering where can those be seen more in-depth or where to get them to try in training?Thanks

By the way, I asked my doc what’s my blood type. He said it didn’t matter cause everyone uses universal O for blood transfusions anyway. Obsolete info apparently. Any medical folks on here agree? Do we not really need blood type anymore? Great box by the way. Thanks.

eluv it is still very relevant in the combat medical aspect of things. Austere environment. Etc. Hospital environment has many different standards

blood type is still really important. they use O until they can type match. it saves time to know your type... but my experience is as a civilian

These are some cool items to add to my original active shooter first response kit which is a Glock 19 and 2 extra mags. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. The knife is pretty cool but everyone knows you're not suppose to bring a knife to a gun fight. Cool SHTF stuff this month, nice comeback from the Jungle junk box (almost lost me there).

Just got my Pro+ box. Still not very impressed. The knife came with a nice edge, other than that...meh. I wouldn't pay $150 for the knife. That's two KOTMs in a row I am not thrilled about. Is the third strike coming next month?

For an Active Shooter theme box, wouldn't it have been more sensible if it primarily featured a Bullet "proof" rated clipboard or notebook binder insert that you can add in a knapsack/bookbag or messenger bag?? Chance Rogers that's the MSRP. We all know, there are a lot of manufacturers that over estimate the value of their product. That being said, I did some research and if the blade is N690 like other versions of this knife, I can see the value. It just looks cheap to me, just my opinion.
