It's like- I know these rules. I'm confident in being able to GM. But your videos help build confidence and ones like these are genuinely entertaining for a nerd like me.

These are so cool 😎! Fantastic way to teach the mechanics to then, once learned, implement full-on descriptive play. Once you've got all this down, then looking down at the sheet and looking up stuff both go by the wayside in favor of awesome roleplay. Without your videos, sir, many would find PF2E just too mechanics heavy. But thanks to you, once learned, you can go forward for real fun with it! 👍🙂

Love your videos. I've learned more watching them than by reading and re-reading the source material! A constructive comment... Even though it's typically seen written as Satipo, the Alfred Molina character is Sapito (suh PEE toe) in the movie. You can hear it spoken when Indy finds that he was killed by the spear trap, tips his hat, and says "Adios, Sapito."

Isn't there some feats that boost "Aid" to apply when the ally is already has resulted his die? If there is, maybe it's not cool to allow "Grab an edge" reaction as substitution

Awesome video! Speaking of jumps, is there any video explaining this rule?
@HowItsPlayed2 жыл бұрын
No, I haven't made one yet. Maybe I should make one that covers all the different applications of the Athletics Skill.

I don’t understand the ready action. would you roll initiative and takes turn for out of combat dungeon exploration ?
@HowItsPlayed Жыл бұрын
Not by RAW, but it allows a framework where Indy's player could say "I wait to see if Satapo needs help, and be ready to help him if he does".

Love the video! Minor gripe: why does Indy have a lower acrobatics than thievery? He's not using tools and his dex score should be equal. Also assuming he's a rogue as a level 3 rogue with 18 dex and 14 Str (3+exp+4=11 thievery, 3+exp+2=9 athletics) he could be expert in only 2 skills. I CALL SHENANIGANS SER!! (But seriously, can't wait for part 2, I still struggle with chase rules!)
@willegan18239 күн бұрын
Indy is level 4, not 3, and so has an additional skill increase to apply to Acrobatics.
