Welcome to another Battle Brothers Legends Mod Playthrough! This time we add the PTR Mod! And! We will be doing a solo character run!
Battle Brothers is a turn based tactical RPG which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory?
The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat.
Manage a medieval mercenary company in a procedurally generated open world.
Fight complex turn-based tactical battles with historical equipment and brutal injuries.
Permadeath. All characters that die in combat will stay dead - unless they return as the undead.
All characters come with their own background stories and traits. Want a stuttering ratcatcher, a greedy witch hunter or a drunkard disowned noble?
Character development without a restrictive class-system. Each character gains experience through combat, can level up and acquire powerful perks.
Equipment that matters. Different weapons grant unique skills - split shields with axes, stun enemies with maces, form a spearwall with spears or crush armor with a warhammer.
Diverse enemy roster. All enemies have unique equipment, skills and AI behavior.
A dynamic event system with atmospheric encounters and tough decisions outside of combat.
Three late game crises - a war between noble houses, a greenskin invasion and an undead scourge - add a looming threat.
Two full hours of orchestral soundtrack.
70 Steam Achievements and Steam Trading Cards.

Haven't played PTR in like 1-2 years, but from what I remember they made soloruns pretty impossible later on. Maybe not on medium difficulty. But if you know the new Southern undead, you'll understand why you can no longer solo every legendary location no matter how long you grind.

You seem experienced. Try making Roman legions 😤 I've struggled to get one started. Finding matching equipment is rough!

I have about 2000 hours o.O That could be a fun theme run. I'd think in vanilla it could struggle with just spears and swords but these mods have nice perks that I think would really help! And yes matching equipment sounds like the toughest part haha

What weapon are you going with?? A solo run must have a "Spin to win" weapon. Ax or Flail. Flails are super powerful. Some super Flail perks there, with the bonuses to attacking the head

I'd love to find a good flail for it since we did axes last time. I'm hoping to find a badass famed orc one but we'll see...

Thanks for the feedback! I'm constantly tweaking the setting to try and find the "sweet spot" What would you say is wrong with the audio? too loud/quiet or something else?

Lonewolf have +2/3 harder encounters than others "handmade solos", right? so tougher battles, scaling as I understand. Is it too hard? Or regular solos is boring due to not scaling and easy?

Honestly I think it mostly depends on the mods and the rng to what you start with. I feel like solo got a lot easier than when I first did it in vanilla. That being said, I think it's the easiest solo start out of all of the solos

@@Absurdum22 hmm yes, I mean with mods like legends+ptr. Tbh game seems easier with them. I've seen another series lonewolf LegendsMod+PTR on legendary difficulty unortofox flail build and... it was a success in therms in beating legendary locations and stuff. So yeah it is beatable and fun... in some way or another :D And vanilla was hard yep. Anyway thank you for reply!

Yeah that's fair, I think when I did a vanilla run it was on legendary too and this one isn't. That's probably why it seems easier than before haha

I believe I show it but it's ECZCLPWXEW you need legends and PTR for that seed to give you the same tho (i'm pretty sure)
