Also worth noteing that due to how long-distance works he will stand pretty much on top of an enemy base. An odd quirk that can certainly get him killed since he will be pretty much guaranteed to take damage from any thing that spawns.

Nothing changed, except people figured out how broken his savage blow actually is. 300K damage worth of burst at max potential while holding very good mobility and HP, bonus points for his strong procs. General shift in methodology to damage based meta also contributed to higher placement.

Holy fuck the stats of Izanagi are insane put in analysis and oh boy and I did get this unit like 2 weeks ago, a lot of stages have turned easier, not only that, I also came across Gao, Izanagi making her entrance from an 11 roll discount starter offer, (no longer starter but that discount came across the way around 3.9k UR or 4K, also starting UL soon too), then Gao came afterward after I have rolled a single rare gacha ticket, I am so happy with them together (oh goodness, extra note... even best LEGEND?! oh my god I'm in shock and crying that I got this literally, god bless me, this unit is utterly spectacular)

Izanagi Has Single Target unfortunately, but luckily redeems himself by having INSANE AMOUNTS OF BASE DPS, coming in at 20,000, but when you account his insane damage, IT SKYROCKETS UP TOWARDS 120,000 DPS. He is literally a ranged balrog, standing at 300 range piercing up to 750 range, and even with multi hit, one hit still accounts to an average of 40,000 Dps. Insanity. ( Edit ) But It Doesn't Stop There. if This Guy Gained Area Attack, The Whole Entire Game Would Be A Cakewalk. He Would Easily Outrank Every Single Uber And Legend Rare Combined.

Dr. XSkull, according to the wiki his effective range is 1~351 on 1st hit, 350~575 on 2nd hit, 575~800 on 3rd hit. Izanagi is capable of hitting mobs twice at range 350-351.

He's single target so he'll always hit the closest enemy within each range. So unless there is a single enemy that stands perfectly at 351 or 575, getting two hits on an enemy is impossible.

I like to imagine Izanagi's epicfest counterpart to have 50% higher stats than him, insane damage to traitless, is immune to waves, curse, surges, freeze/slow, an extra kb, and her sage gonna have freeze against traitless while knocking back other traits Also forgot mini surges for each hit just like dphono

@@blerinandreko2463 I'd argue both choices are valid, having Nanaho let's you mog on pretty much any metal stage. And as was said in this video, while very powerful you could substitute Izanagi with Balrog. Given that legend slots are rarer than ubers, getting the niche metal busting unit over the generalist isn't a bad choice as getting Balrog in the future is more likely than another legend. Aside from all that OP should probably plan out his next two legend slots to make a better judgement call, if the second legend slot is within say 150 pulls, it really doens't matter tbh

@@deemodoom1360 the problem with balrog is actually landing the hits - single target - melee ranged - less HP (and has 4 knockbacks so he gets juggled like a bitch) if you do land the strengthened hit thats 300k hp gone, but the chances of that happening normally is so slim. I'd rather have a cat that can do 100k damage multiple times at a long range than a cat who does one 300k damage attack and dies
