What really stings about Emma's biggest flaws- that being her low range and high stagger count- is that they're only an issue because they're both present. If Emma had less staggers with the same range, that would be tolerable because she's doing an okay job at tanking, all while stopping waves. If she had more range but the same amount of staggers, that would arguably be a good thing because she's getting repositioned behind the meatshields while safely fulfilling her wave blocker purpose. But both of these issues together are complete poison for her kit.

I’d say 5 knockbacks and maybe a range boost of like 50 would make her easily one of the most useful Ubers out there or they could lower her knockbacks to like 2 and then just make her a anti wave tank that weakens which would be really good against certain stages

Thank you for defending her, most people keep focusing on her bad wave blocker role but ignore her great tanker debuffer potential. She is nothing too op, but is now a really nice support to have that can turn the tide on endurance stages

Great point. While it sucks that she can’t be used well in the wave blocker niche, she is a good unit in specific strategies/levels. It’s the perfect balance imo, not a dasli tier unit, has its place in some comps and a unique style of play

At first, I was a little disappointed, thinking that she wasn't going to measure up. But after trying it, with her talents, I can safely say, that it's one of the best cc units in the whole game, as much or (depend on situation) more than even Chronos or Mitama. And yes, arguably the best wave blocker too. Her hp buff, along the weaken, and her speed, fix nice the knockback highcount. If it's necessary, her sinergy with other cc units it's brutal. And her short range, it's usefull for protect more units.

Red buster and Floating busters exclusives both absolutely clap their respective targets, but Emma not only does not rock her job, she's one of the worst units in the game in said job. And then Ponos release both her TF and Talents and the same time only to have her remain as shit as before at her titular task. It almost seems on purpose.

Maybe for her Ultra Talent she’ll 10-15% Dodge for 3s and Surge Immune (idea is that she’ll be near-immortal against spam due to them triggering her Dodge more frequently while her battle stats + weaken is enough to neutralize lone boss stage).

From that perspective she's certainly a better fit for most lineups than Hades, especially in areas like starred UL where high DPS enemies will instantly shred through Hades' HP
