Reitama honestly feels like she fulfill’s a completely different role from Mitama, despite being a near direct clone. Warning right now, this is quite a read/me selling this idea of Rei’s unique role. Genuinely wanna discuss this unit. It’s clear they didn’t want her to compete with Mitama, or function the best as double Mitama strats. Lower health, weaker damage, 2 second reduction to her cc time, the loss of her debuff immunities, and her piercing range cut by 100 all clearly serve to make her a worse unit that if paired with Mitama’s slow, it can actively hinder Mitama herself since Rei’s slow might hit right after hers and steal the slow proc duration. With all this in mind, I’ve found a unique roll she can take that Mitama can’t, and it all has to do with a certain stat: KB Count. I definitely feel the reduction hurt her bad, alongside the loss of immunities leaves her to lose that initial unkillable feeling Mitama gets from her KB count pairing well with her better CC. Rei simply can’t compete in being a force that dominates the field by halting all progress… but then you boost her. Mine is at level 45, and from the time I’ve used her, her 5 kb count went from her hinderance as a Mitama clone, to being a Mitama that, if the enemy is relying on their offense alone with no form of CC, can use the stronger bulk she has per KB to stave off the frontlines, use her cc to still hold some control over the battle, avoiding Mitama’s weakness to getting juggled in certain instances, turn her into this really neat LD tank unit, one that’s able to tank 41,050 damage (at LVL:50) before being knocked back, acting like a cc wall. With the chance at surges boosting her average DPS higher than Mitama’s, Rei kind of starts to become the opposite of Mitama. Mitama dominates with her high KB count and great CC capabilities, Rei dominates with being able to play a defense/offensive role, weilding a higher dps potential at 8,642 DPS, and able to tank certain attacks to force her CC onto the field, and possibly staving off threats for units behind her to come and alleviate pressure from her. TLDR: Reitama is Mitama re-envisioned as a sturdy offense LD unit, with potential to output more DPS, and while loses the opressive CC Mitama had, replaces it with forcing CC in situations Mitama would be juggled, esp with boosting.

@@willf4517 yeah, say a unit slows for 10 seconds, and a unit with 2 second slow procs after. The timer is always based off the last proc, its not additive. Freeze is a similar concept, time your frozen is based on the units freeze time, 10 second freeze overridden by 2 second freeze. Weaken suffers from this too, AND the fact some units weaken for different amounts, so it REALLY clashes.

More bulk between KB is something but I think Reitama's main role is to be an anti-surge and as a result, an anti aku Mitama who works on mixed stages. Mitama gets hard countered by surge due to her high KB number but Reitama thrives on surge stages. It feels to me like ponos nerfed her stats wise to not power creep aku this early but it would be cool if she got some other niche like all trait dodge to further distinguish her from mitama.

I’m really happy to see the love for Ramiel. Our beloved 4th dimension queen 🔷 Also I noticed something really good about Ramiel’s slow ablility. I’ve seen it where it can trap the enemy in the surge, since they’re slowed and can’t move. This works really well for Ramiel’s anti Floating capabilities since Floating enemies tend to be faster than most other enemies. Of course, sometimes this is a double edged sword with the enemy being just behind her surge and unable to reach its effect area, but RNG is heavily reliant with Ramiel anyway I’m also really glad that Eva Unit 02 is getting some love. I got it when the collab first came out and he was just incredible. I got Thundia a while after and never used her, mainly because Eva Unit 02 was just superior in every way. Glad to see my favorite Eva Unit at number 2

I'll be honest. I never really took a proper look at all the ubers, and I have never actually seen any of them in use (with a few small, quick exceptions). With that, I made my own version of a ranking, with a quick description of why I placed an uber in that spot. 1. One-Eyed Asuka (Obviously.) 2. Night Oracle Rei (Also pretty obvious.) 3. Eva Unit-01 (Previously a bit underwhelming, true form is actually pretty pog uber. Strengthen actually works much better than most ubers since Eva-Unit-01 actually has 2 extra knockback while strengthened.) 4. Eva Unit-13 (Pretty pog anti-aku, but can be inconsistent, also multi attack. Still pretty sweet uber.) 5. Eva Unit-02 (Will do the job, but Courier. If you ever need something for Professor A., here ya go) 6. Eva Unit-00 (Good, except Octo and Yaminora can fill this niche for wave-blocker. Technically better than Yaminora, but only by 10 range. If you don't already have one, then go ahead, but it has severely fallen off.) 7. Shinji Cat (Honestly, never used CITC, so I didn't actually know how Shinji Cat was used. After a better look, I'd say this is better spot than 12th place lol.) 8. The 9th Angel (Can do pretty good against aliens. Effective DPS is subpar, but surge that is actually consistent makes it pretty good. Weaken is a great bonus, with surge giving it great uptime and proc chance.) 9. The 6th Angel (Funny geometric shape is like Cosmo but can pierce. Shorter range, but can nuke hard against floating, and even against non floating.) 10. AAA Wunder (Alright generalist with decent niche. Not much to say about it if you ask me.) 11. Eva Unit-08 ("Don't you say it, don't you say it. _Sanzo_ . COME ON!") 12. Moon Operators (Red is powercreeped, zombies burrow, and uptime is not good. Most zombie and red are melee, so can outrange most threats.) 13. The 4th Angel (Pizza and Bomber) 14. The 10th Angel (Even the effective damage is subpar to uber base damage relative to range. Surge helps, but inconsistent ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Shinji Cat's main thing is damage. He has the similar stats to Cats in the Cradle and just like them, the KB is just a bonus. They're both quick-to-recharge melee units with decent tankiness and lots of damage with good area denial - he should be higher. I'd also put the 4th below the 10th (but let's be honest, they're both trash), put NERV Moon lower and Eva-02 a bit higher. Other than that, I agree

All things considered, I got out of this one well. I was around for the first collab but only rolled second strike and didn't exactly get a great variety. I was able to save up a whole lot before this one though, had the only units I'm missing in the entire colab are asukasli and 02. I'm planning on boosting several of the units, 00 benefits from all forms of survivability, unit 1 becomes sort of ridiculously tanky which significantly reduces the threat of Zombies too. Shinji cat is a shorter range Eyewaltz and I would probably boost if I didn't already have said Eyewaltz at 60 and I boosted bardiel several years back already. I also need to boost reitama because the ability to actually tank things and deal persistent damage makes for a legitimately interesting alternative to her counterpart.

the red and purple EVA ubers are really good. red one is basically OG courier. Purple has 250% strenghten and strong vs zombies and alien with Z kill and 100% survive
