The point defenses made a pretty light show, but I don't think they ever actually shot down a rocket. Also, it's pretty hard to actually aim those things, eh?

True, I haven't seen all that much interesting script work. Homing missiles do exist, but they have to be ship-scale, you can't put scripting on an actual 'missile'.

XD Seriously! You guys DO realize that ships tend to have things like *LE GASP* shields and armor and point defense systems, right? Things that make it nigh impossible to board a vessel in the height of battle, right? What next, you think astronauts are gonna be riding on ropes to opposing starships while wielding cutlasses and shouting, 'ARRRR!' XD Man, you guys must HATE starship battles of the kind seen in the Forerunner Trilogy which is so anti-boarding party that it must feel like a kick to the sternum reading it. XD

@@VunderGuy It's really not that hard, I did it online. I took out their point defense. Boarded with 2 friends, destroyed med bay and re-welded it. and secured the ship. Then we hacked it until we owned it, then we had a pretty decent gunship in our fleet. :D It is really fun to have boarding parties.

Even better (once the game is more stable) some kind of battle where each team has a small fleet of fighters, frigates then eventually a single destroyer which they transport themselves too using the transporter mod after the initial wave is beaten. Can just imagine the shots of each teams next wave fighting through the wreckage of their previous losses/victories and having to decide when to abandon their current ship for the next. Brilliant video man!

you need a LOT more of these... I would even love a sort of story based series on this. A small crew being sent deep into enemy territory to disrupt enemy supply lines and take out targets of opportunity. On the run a LOT but up for the job, even at some point crashing into a planet, repairing quickly, finding ancient tech and bugging out quickly.

you guys should have a battle with 3 retreat bases... the only way to get to them is to warp your ship to them... both teams know the locations to them and if one of the ship warps away the other has to not only warp to another area they have to guess which one they went to... this and a cat and mouse aspect to the fight and allows the teams to down quick repairs until they are spotted... truly a test for who is the better Captain...

Always aim ahead of your target, you can tell it's speed, direction and distance from you of where to shoot, if it's just moving forward, aim far ahead of it, not at it. The closer you are, the closer you can aim directly at it.

Please more of these multi crew battles they are fantastic and really exciting with the weaponry you chose! Like warships ! Amazing how the ships tore each other apart piece by piece, I wouldn't mind taking even longer looks at the wrecked ship afterwards to examine how extensive the damage is! (Maybe try a fight szenario like this in the future with the energy shield mod? I wish I could take part in a battle!! There is a discord channel, but does that mean we get to play with you, or only patrons? Had Space Engineers since early access released it! :)

If Space Engineers was more stable, it'd be amazing to see a battle between two enormous multi-crewed ships fitted with jump drives and radar so when you're too damaged, you could jump out and repair, then use the radar to relocate your enemy. Or even some kind of fleet battle which uses the transporter mod to let crews switch between ships (after jumping out of the battle) whilst repairing their previous ships and so on, etc. So much potential with this game.

I like it, make more of these. Perhaps do Galactic Police vs Pirates or something next time.
