@AngDavies5 жыл бұрын
It did do better - the other one had cut into the black one, but that meant the blade became wedged inside the black one and the twisting stress caused a bit to snap off You could get the same if you wedged it into a tree and Twisted it too badly the winning blade ends up in a much weaker position at the end as it has much less steel to support that bit of the blade wedged inside the other one

Since I'm not seeing anything here in the comments I have to say it. I bought the uncle Henry knife which is the one Skalll prefers out of the three. Going into this test I was sure, given what I had seen during five years selling knives (retail), that the Uncle Henry would win. Uncle Henry's the type of knife that the farmer would use. Not built for looks, but built like a brick outhouse, Mossy Oak is built for the weekend warrior, useful but with a little man-bling that brings the usefulness down a little. The fantasy is built for just that fantasy.

For the tendonitis, try scraping it. (details below) You'll probably get a bruise, which will heal in 7 days. Damaged spots get bruised easily. If the scraping feels bad, you can just stop. Wait for 7 days before scraping the spot again. I've found that resting the scraped spot for a day or two gets the best healing results. (Talking about the damage, the bruise will heal at the same rate whatever you do.) The scraping is great for muscle pains, but helps the tendons too. You'd do well to put some baby oil, hand lotion or any other lubrication on first to protect your skin. It's fine to scrape without it as well, it's just more comfortable with it. Definitely put something on if your skin is weak. Don't scrape cuts or otherwise damaged skin or if you are on blood thinning medication or have diabetes or if your sense of pain is dull. You can use a big eating spoon. Find one with round edges. If you're damaging your spoon or skin you're doing it wrong.
