It honestly just started as some fun editing practice but after I completed the first segment I kinda realised that I could actually create something that could possibly work and I got more and more into it. I never thought I’d be able to complete it to the end and there were so many parts that gave me trouble (the damn Prominence Burn scene had to be redone about 10 times 😩) so I’m happy and really relieved it’s finally done. @@The-Night-Hauler They fought in season 6 but obviously I made this video before season 6 came out. You’re correct they had never fought. I used scenes of the anime and cut them together through clever editing to make it look as though they are fighting. For example, I used scenes of Dabi attacking Endeavor in season 5 and fighting Geten in season 5 and edited it to make it look as though he was fighting Shoto. For Shoto, I used scenes such as his fight against Stain, his fights during the Provisional License Exam and against Deku, etc. So it was all about taking scenes from the anime and then editing them to create a fight that never happened.

The orange ice wasn’t intentional. It was unfortunately a by-product of the editing process. The method I used to recolour Shoto’s fire also changed the colour of the ice in certain scenes. I could’ve spent extra time fixing that but I’d have to do it frame by frame which is a lengthy process and I’d already spent months on this project so I decided to just go with it and pass it off as a weird lighting thing 😅
