I love the attention to detail and how you really humanized everyone in the fight. From the german soldier stopping to help up his injured friend only to get shot, to the shot of several allied soldiers applying pressure to their fallen brother's wounds, the whole short was absolutely amazing!

2:48 Money shot right there, the echoey sound of the BREN roaring, the focus on the Germans getting shot at with the blurry rifle infront of us, the instant change of area of operations as the MG gunner does his job and suppresses the enemy, and rightfuly then the rest of the Brits follow suit by charging across the bridge? Iunno what to say anymore, good stuff!

I watched this like 3 times throughout the last week, and I have to say, this is probably the coolest gmod animation I've ever seen! Everything is sooooo good: the sound effects, the soundtrack, the superb animation quality, and the atmosphere of your environment all tie the video together expertly. Not to mention the use of the dynamic camera angles! I cannot understate how cool it is to see these models be animated. very very *very* good job man! I really like the addition at 2:47 where the commando's bipod slips forward over the ledge, but the ledge stays in between the handguard and the bipod anyways.

Fun fact: the Parachute Brigade was issued M1 Garands during the Capture of Pegasus Bridge and the relief of Caen. The rifles were given the same red maple varnish treatment as the Lee-Enfield, which was different from the brown linseed used by the American issue. It is a deliberate attempt to mask the Garand rifles from being spotted, which may lead to them being surrounded, as the Wehrmacht were ordered to seize valuable enemy arms such as the M1 rifle, the M1 carbine, the M2 Browning, the Boys rifle, the Welrod pistol, the MAB-38, the PPSh, the SVT-40 and the M18 recoilless rifle. Some glider infantry have more than one long armament, attesting to their specialist roles such as scout (M1 rifle and Thompson), pathfinder (Carbine and Thompson), sniper (M1 rifle and a scoped variant of the No. 4 Mk.I), AT grenadier (M1 Bazooka and M1 carbine), engineer (Winchester shotgun and Sten) and artillery spotter (Winchester and Thompson)
