I'm a JND studios collector, and I have to say that my choice between the two would immediately be the Queen Studios version, based on the way you have them presented here. But if I wanted to display the unmasked Bale version then it's JND Studios all the way. It would be difficult to justify the cost difference for a statue that has 75% of the face covered by the mask/cowl 👏😎👍 great video Chris 🎉

JND wins by a land mile in my opinion. Never really liked the Queen, cause the portrait is the most important piece of a statue and as you said it doesn't look like Bale at all. So for me it would be a nobrainer to keep the JND.

Thanks for this review! I’ve been considering diving more into JND and I think your review really shows the quality when you can directly see the comparison between the two. That said, given how incredible Queen’s new 1:1 Batman bust and life size statue looks, I hope they take another crack at both TDK Batman and Joker in 1/3 scale as I think they’d really kill it with how much they’ve grown since their original 1/3s were released

Nice video Chris! I think you've made a fair comparison! In my eyes JND is superior in every aspect you mentioned here except the cape (which visually does not make much difference to me). On top of that it is more life-like as well, the QS is very statue-y whereas JND looks like you are looking at the real deal. It is indeed very expensive but I have no regrets.

if you are a huge batman fan then the JND one all day long. I just switched my order from queens the batman to the jnd the batman. Not my favorite batman but I love the bat suit in the movie. I think the batman from jnd is probably one of the best statues I have seen so far

Great video. I think you laid it out perfectly. I liked how you broke it down. Without pointing out all those pieces it’s hard to decide anything. It still may be for some but rationalizing the decisions based on facts. It simplifies it. They are both great looking statues.

Jnd is hands down better. But it should be considering the price. If you wanted a bale batman then jnd is the way to go.

JND is far superior in this case thus the price difference. To some it will be priced accordingly to others its robbery. But price aside, JND did an amazing job.

I never had mine side by side, didn't realize JND was actually noticeably larger too. About the pose, that Queen really didn't do it for me, I don't love either one, but the Queen looked like he was jutting his crotch out and trying too hard to look mean. I actually liked the Queen rooted hair Bale head over the cowl one, I think someone could get away with the Queen if they only wanted to display the Bale head, but JND is a significant step up in every respect.

I cannot afford fine art. I love it but it’s not affordable. If you want my opinion if I could afford one of these I’d go with the more expensive one on the right. As you said the base needs to be raised to make it more balanced. Thanks for showing these statues it was awesome see them side by side. By the way the Joker is breathtaking. Just awesome!!!

JND definitely wins almost every category if we're talking statue quality, but as you stated is it over $1000 more superior? The Queens Studios piece is still a good looking statue and definitely gets the job done. I haven't seen a JND Piece in person though. I have their Superman on order but due to that insane price, I'm on the fence whether I want to keep that order. (But if I cancel, I lose a good chunk of $)

​@@stevenloube6784 The Cavil Superman. Unfortunately JND made almost everything I ever wanted in a Superman Statue (Superman made a bigger impact for me in the movies vs the comics). JND captured Cavil's Likeness the most in my eyes but I also prefer Superman in a flying pose and that shows that he's powerful with nothing too dynamic. My only critiques is that I wish the portrait was a little fuller and there was confidence/determination in his facial expression. JND's looks tired. I say 'unfortunately' because I think their price is insane. Even Harley' was $400 cheaper but she had a fully sculpted body, tattoos, customer clothing, and accessories. I would have loved to pair the Reeve Superman with him but I wasn't a fan of that pose. Standing there with his arms folded like that? Come on, there are dozens better to choose from.

In my opinion, Queen Studios is the weakest of the 3 1/3 bale pieces. It just doesn't look good. JND crushes the Queen piece and I'm not usually a JND fan. It's even better than the P1.

I think the Queen Studios piece has the right facial components, but the mouth is too high. There's too much chin in that piece. The overall proportion of the facial shape is correct on the sculpt, but the mouth is not placed properly.

For me JND is excellent and the best version that I've, the Queen Studio is better value for money and is very good, if they were both on offer at the same time I think that I'd try to stretch the budget for the JND to be honest. My reason for that would be because it's the sort of thing which you'd only buy once.

By the way, you should really get the P1 piece. It's definitly the best value for money option of the three. So many switchouts, a great cowled portrait, awesome cape. Just a fantastic piece for the price it was back some years ago.

OatyCustoms makes custom 1/4 Batman head sculpts for Hot Toys and his work is 100% accurate! These two head sculpts aren't even close :(

I agree with your comments. I have the deluxe QS Bale Batman, im really happy with it but the cowl portrait and the belt do let it down. I don’t know what happened with the cowl portrait as I think the unmasked one is great. If I had to choose between the two though, I would stick with QS as it is not worth the extra $1k to me. Neither of these are great imo especially in the likeness. A hot toys dx19 with custom OATY parts is the way to go for bales batman hands down no contest. Those suckers are INSANE

man i remember how good the JND batman tdk prototype used to look. It was amazing. The production is so much downgraded with the eyes not looking the same and also the cowl isnt as accurate. The cowl is more sharp whereas in the movie and the prototype had a more round cowl... idk but it definitely dont feel like its worth 2.4k dollars at all now.

Personally I’d have the prime one Studios the dark knight rises statue way better fabric cape you get the different swap outs has way more bells and whistles then the jnd l feel the jnd is overpriced for what it is and it looks boring just stood there at least with the prime one you can swap out the arms and the hands and it’s awesome to have the option to change up the prime one to me prime one studios dark knight rises statue wins hands down
