The catalina is high risc/ high reward. I use it for Raids whith a Avalanch, I oneshot pretty much everything after 5 minutes but for pvp it is a bit to fragile.

The Catalina is well suited for raid missions where you will have time to bump up the weapon damage bonus. In PvP the initial 15% nerf may critically reduce the staying power of the build, meaning that you can be killed before you have time to level up. The "Is it worth it?" calculations are, of course, complete nonsense. This is not how any parts are priced in Crossout (just consider the staggering cost of some cosmetic parts and paints). Neither is it how military equipment is valued in the real world. An edge in efficiency or survivability by just a few percent, may incur a huge additional cost. It comes down to how much one is willing to invest in one's military. A rich country (or player) is willing to pay extra for that marginal improvement, while a poor country (or player) may instead choose to offset the difference by fielding more units. As Crossout is limited to one vehicle per player, the obvious way to go, is to acquire the best equipment you can afford, not to optimize your build in relation to its purchase cost. The only cost that matters is the points value, as it determines the relative level of your opposition. Still, I like your scientific approach to the problem. There are absolutely tons of parts in crossout and any normal player will only be able to afford a fraction of them. Any help in choosing playstyle and stretch goals is welcome. I think both cabins are great, and I think they are both worth getting. If I could afford just one, i would settle for the Catalina, simply because it looks better. I think the Torero needs a facelift.

Very true! In that case, the higher price might be worth it to some since it also works well in Raids. I guess that's up to each player to decide.

With the sudden lowering of the catalina price (around 2000 now) it's much more close to the torero so it's more worth it I'd say.

Me too. 😂 There's a lot of work that goes into making these videos which is rather time consuming. I also deal with anxiety and clinical depression, so there have been plenty of times when I just don't feel up to doing any of it. I must say though, even simple comments such as yours keep me going and help me to stay positive, so thank you very much!

Not bad at all. However, around @8:00 in, when you say that performance should be the main justification in a parts cost……that is all wrong lol. Like with most markets, cost is based on supply and demand. Performance is one factor on the demand side, but not a main contributor at all. (Heck, even the TOW missile is one of the most expensive normally craftable epics in the game at the time of this posting xD)
