I was also shocked when Kaleidos released the price being $36 for this highlighter but then it was so awesome that they included it in their Black Friday sale for $27! I snagged one and I love it. Kaleidos seriously seems like one of the brands that can’t fail.

Milani's Hypnotic Lights Powder Highlighter in the shade Luster Light is a gorgeous, wearable, peachy pink duochrome with a translucent base. Colored Raine has one called "Fashion Show" that's pretty much the same. They're both really nice and subtle but can be built up, if you like.

Phoenix from terra moon is the brightest orangey shifter i have ever seen. It beats both these highlights all day. But the kaleidos highlighter imo was prettier on the cheek than BB, it really popped

If you want something subtle but a little bit along the lines of the Terra Moon one she swatched, Milani's Hypnotic Lights Powder Highlighter in the shade Luster Light is a beautiful peachy pink duochrome with a translucent base. It looks beautiful on the skin and can be built up if that's your thing. Colored Raine has a similar highlighter called 'Fashion Show' it's a little more pigmented than the Milani one but still subtle. Especially compared to these!

I love terra moons, but wish they would come out with more shades that do not shift green.

*Colored Raine has a highlighter in the shade "Fashion Show" that has the same shift (peachy pink duochrome and a translucent base) as the Terra Moon one you showed. Also, Milani's Hypnotic Lights Powder Highlighter in the shade 'Luster Lights' has that same pinky peachy duochrome shift and translucent base. They aren't as super pigmented as the Terra Moon one but they're gorgeous on the skin and can be built up. I have them both.*

Both are beautiful products but I saw Angelica Nyqvist use the Kaleidos highlighter and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. It looks lovely on you. Waiting for a sale is absolutely the best thing to do❤️

I have the Kaleidos one, and yes I paid full price for it! Honestly super happy though and I don't care if it's a bit over the top. It makes me smile. I don't own any of the Clionadh iridescent multichromes but I might look to get one or two during the sale. Also a few Glitter multichromes and the and Vibrant Multichromes 😍

I still love and use the Alchemy (?) palette regularly. They were the first unconventional highlighter colours I had, and they were the first (and only) reason I started liking my stupid pale skin. 😋

I don’t have any multichrome highlighters, but I have a bunch of single shadows that are iridescent multis so I just use those if I’m feeling the multichrome hightlighter vibe that day. The Kristen Leigh one is drool-worthy though. Thanks for sharing ✨💛

I wish I could get a Kaleidos highlighter, but it has PTFE, which is not recommended for pregnant women or women trying to get pregnant. PTFE is Teflon, the non-stick coating on cookware. It also listed with a cancer warning by Breast Cancer Awareness Partners. It's a pass for me.

Love the comparisons I still think kaleidos kills it over the other highlighter... I’m glad to have the prophecy highlighter but I do wanna try some clionadh and terra moon iridescent shades as highlighters someday

I did buy the Space Age Prophecy. I have to go in with a VERY light hand!😁 I also got a few of Devinah's highlighters to use in my inner corners. Hope that works out well. Best time to try a few things from brands was Black Friday!

I have the Birthday bash highlight and it is very pretty but there was what seemed to me to be a red overspray that is gone now. Still beautiful but I did like the red. I have so many iridescent multichromes I prob won't pick up the Kaleidos highlight but it is very beautiful. 💖💖

I ALMOST picked up birthday bash when I made my Black Friday order but I just didn’t know if $20 was worth it. I’ll probably wait and try to get it on sale or worst case scenario use your code to get some money off. I definitely want this now after seeing you swatch and use it. 😭

I wondered about the Clionadh shades immediately. I have Lux and Ray and I would be very curious to see how close they are to the Kaleidos highlighter. Would you consider doing a more detailed video to compare and look for the best dupe?

When I was first experimenting with highlighters & getting minis with my Sephora points to try Becca out, I was so disappointed that all the hyped ones were too dark on me & looked like a stripe of gold eyeshadow on my cheeks. Sooooo, I just used the lightest shimmery shade in my neutral eyeshadow palette & that worked fine. I still do that although I have a couple highlighters now that actually work, it's just easier to use what's in front of me sometimes than pull another thing out of the drawer lol. For a while highlighters were very "frosty" & I don't always like that look. I'm already pale af.

I think Space Age Prophesy looks idk, more gold? And Birthday Bash more icier. I think that's why it is Kaleidos one breaks my heart, I still don't have gold highlighter (I'm hunting Venus and Mercury from Lunar beauty, ugh, can't they just restock them? I have Mars and it is awesome, I want the other two too!).

Mercury is my favorite highlighter in my collection. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Hopefully he’ll restock soon.

I was so excited for the Kaleidos one, I told myself I'd get it if it's no more than double the price of their regular highlighters. Then they released the price and I was so sad. Luckily their black Friday sale was 25% off, which brought it down to $27 so I snagged it. It was a roller coaster to get to this point, but I love it so much! Still I don't think a single highlighter can be worth over $30.

That kaleidos highlighter has been on my wish list since it came out. My kids dad killed himself the end of 2019 then in 2020 his mom whom they loved so much and spent 2 or 3 days a week with did the same in Nov and their other gma..my mom..developed dementia and we thought we were gonna lose her for a minute and obviously just the struggles we all had in 2020 so I have put all spending on hold to give them a great Christmas. Im almost done...thank the Lord but anyway all that to say in 2021 I really wanna buy that entire set cause I dont own any yet and I love the look of them. You got me hooked on the devinah sugar drops last year I guess and I use them almost daily as inner corner highlights . Also this has made me realize how addicted to new makeup I am. I mean I'm obviously responsible I never buy anything until everyone is taken care of first but I feel like I'm in makeup withdrawals..Lol

I feel you girl. Im so sorry for what you have been through and your loss. Have you tried the sugar drops as highlight? All of them sold out on blackfriday except yumlicks so i got that one. And I'll definitely be trying it as a highlight!

The last highlight looks great on your skin. Like a naturql glow. I just got the Nikkia Joy multichrome pigments. Right now I actually have to learn how to properly use them. I'm on a mission... can you recommend a good mixer to make eyeliner.

Inglot duraline for sure. I tried the mehron mixing fluid but its tricky and always makes my liners look flaky, don't have that prob with duraline.

Dammit, I just love multichromes. I've got TM Phoenix on its way to me and it is totally going on my face as well as my eyes. Some of the iridescents might leave a bit of a grey cast on my face, but I'm kind of a grey person anyway, and my aesthetic is more goth/punk, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you for sharing these with us, that shift looked amazing on your cheekbones!

I was tempted to get birthday bash during black Friday but I was concerned about the flakes and whatnot. I wanna glow but I don't wanna sparkle lol but seeing that the kaleidos one looks a little deeper, that's probably better for my skin tone
