the frixion pens are my absolute favorite pens, but if it gets hot the ink disappears. I went to look at my polisci notes for finals and I was missing like the first twelve pages. Although, if you put it in the freezer the ink returns. super weird. But just in case this happens to anyone else.

The ink disappears at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It will reappear if it gets cold enough - so putting it in the freezer works.

A Random Aviator personally I like the energel pens the best, they have BY FAR the best ink, and the RTX bodies look quite nice. If you want lots and lots of colors though, I’d recommend getting the pilot juice as a supplement for when you want a color that Energel doesn’t have (they only make 12)

My personal favorite has always been Pilot G-2 pens 7mm . I used them on my AP and IB exams, they never bleed through, and I very rarely have difficulty with smearing. I also appreciate that you can by refills for the pens, rather than new ones, which saves plastic. The only problem I have with them is they seem to run out of ink quickly.

Brook T the general temperature of the country doesn't matter x'D (I live in switzerland) I meant that you should not put your notes near a Radiator for exemple. Cause this kind of heat makes the ink disappear (as the "eraser" of the frixion pen are made to produce heat in fact).

Hey! I've been following your videos recently and I'm really enjoying them :) You should really try the uniball signo DX 0.38 pens! I've been using them for the past 5 years, along with almost everyone I know lol. They come in a large variety of colours, seldom skip or bleed (if at all) and are really smooth! You have to be careful with them though, because if you drop them, they'll spoil really easily :( They're refillable too, so you won't need to spend so much money on pens and can help to save the environment :) Once again, keep up the awesome work! All the best in your studies and I'm looking forward to more amazing content from you in the future :)

My favorite pens are the papermate inkjoy gel in 0.7. These pens come in every color of the rainbow and the best part is that the yellow one is actually readable! They don't smear, the ink dries super fast, and they're really cheap (which is good for me because I like to save money 😂).

My favorite pen that I swear by is the Pilot b2p, it's also green because it comes from recycled water bottles, I also love my paper mate liquid flair felt tips, sharpie felt tip pens and the pilot precise v7 are also nice!

Have you tried the zebra sarasa clip pens? I love those, the tip ranges from .3, .4, .5, .7 and 1. My sister uses the .7-1 and mine are .3-.4 since i want slim tip or needle type pen like the pilot g-tec 0.2/0.3

0.38 Sarasa isn't a consistent pen that you can rely for note taking. 0.5 writes pretty normal, and 0.7 writes like a 1.0 broad pen.

I love using Pentel Energel pens. They dry fast and I can highlight over them seconds after using them. I also like the Pilot g2 pens but the only con is that they smear when using a highlighter. Overall, they are still both reliable and great quality imo. I used the Pilot Frixion pens before but was disappointed because the ink would skip a lot and sometimes after erasing, a weird layer of the eraser (no idea what it is) is left, making it difficult for me to write over the portion I wrote on.

I really like muji gel pens. I used to have a 0.38 pen and I found it quite scratchy as well, however the 0.5 and 0.7 pens are really comfortable to write with.

Hi! I love your videos soo much! I'm also a leftie and have always hated most pens until I found the Zebra brand Sarasa 0.7 pens. They are gel, but they dry quickly and hardly ever smear on the page, and rarely smear across the side of my hand as I write. They are the only brand of pen I use. They do bleed and ghost (as like nearly all gel pens), but they are amazing. I have used them on every one of my AP tests that I've taken. I know this might sound like an ad, but I really just like the pens and recommend them to all lefties. I love watching your videos. Keep it up!

i loved this video! i'm a huge fan of pens as well and it's nice to hear other people's opinions and experiences with these pens. i actually love the pilot frixion 0.38 pens because they're very consistent and i somehow write neater with them (and the eraser is a huge plus)- my only complaint about them is that the refills are really expensive especially for such a small size. i haven't had too many problems with muji pens being inconsistent. i used a black muji 0.38 for quite a few weeks straight on history notes and had only one instance of major skipping. i have another light blue muji pen that skips half the time but it's the only one out of my four muji pens that does that so i'm fairly sure it was just a faulty pen. i'm personally not a huge fan of clicker pens because the clip adds on what feels like unnecessary bulk and the noise sometimes gets to me. but from what you've said, the pilot juice pens sound wonderful and i will definitely try those out sometime! :)

As for the Pilot Frixion pens, there are multiple versions of them. You got the thinner a bit cheaper versions, they also function the worst. Then there are the bit thicker versions, which I really love. Lastly there are a capped version. Personally I don't like cap-able pens, but these work really well.

after watching the video i will def get the juice pens. i currently use a zebra sarasa clip 0.5 pen because its super smooth and hardly ever gives me problems. but the ink smudges when i go over it with a highlighter, which i really cant stand. i usually hate anything smaller than a 0.4 because they tend to be super scratchy. but after watching your video i'll def give the juice pens a try. :)

U should try the energel pen. Although they do skip a bit. They are great they dry really quickly unlike most gel pens

I got the pilot juice pens in .38 and they're supper scratchy and skip a lot. I normally use a black muji pen in .38 and it never skips and it's not inconsistent unless the pen only has very little ink (im talking about just one line of ink). The bad thing is that they smear with some highlighters. Ive gone through 4 of them and I love them. If you're a heavy note taker then you'll run out of them kinda fast.

i was thinking of getting new pens since i've been using pilot frixion for like, about 4 years omg. i have the 0.5 ones the retractable pens are rly comfortable to write with and the capped ones are a bit uncomfortable at first until you get used to them! the eraser works great but omg my friend used them for our chem unit test and she ended up losing some points bc an entire line of her answer disappeared 😥 and in my case i wrote some weird inside joke on my essay draft that i had to submit (i erased it) and when i got it back it was there again oh ymgod anyway i rly liked this video! i'm thinking of getting the pilot juice pens!!

You should try Uni Signo line of pens. I like Signo DX 0.38 mm in lavender black. Also, Signo RT or RT1 is very good.
