I’ve only tried the Stila liner and have used it for years but you’re so right about the tip. After a couple weeks, it gets hairy-ish. But it’s still an amazing liner. Super black and very waterproof!

This video was great! I’ve used both the stila and kvd liner and as an oily skin person w/ oily lids I will say that the kvd liner holds up the best if you’re on the same boat as me. Smashbox liquid liner holds up great as well, is cruelty free, but does dry out a little fast. Stila is a cult fave but honestly for someone with my skin type it doesn’t workout which sucks b/c they have so many amazing colors! it smudges easily and the tip frays pretty quickly. Quick note on the kvd liners: the inked liner, though it is darker and has a felt tip (as opposed to the brush tip that trooper has) does not hold up that well on oily skin either 😔 . I’m interested in trying the IT liner as soon as my trooper runs out ☺️

yes i tried the ink and thought it dried out super quick too! I wasnt a fan... trooper is good all around and the cheapest so thats a big plus!

I have super watery eyes and used the KVD trooper for years after trying every drug store one ever. After a while it really wouldn’t hold up well for me anymore and would smudge really easily and just disappear on the ends bc of my watery eyes and aging effects 😅 my eyes are super expressive! So I tried the Stila and you’re right about the fraying end plus it also doesn’t last on me, although I thought it lasted longer than KVD. Maybe it’s that more satin finish more waterproof thing you mentioned! I’ve never heard that so I’m actually super curious to try the it cosmetics one since you said it has the most satin finish. I’m hoping that means it’s the most waterproof on my eyes bc Lord knows my watery eyes make everything difficult lol. Thank you for this vid!

Estée Lauder double wear eyeliner was fantastic. Never ran, stayed on for hours until it was washed off, not a pen, which meant it lasted for months. They stopped making it 12 months ago. Don’t now why.

I'm using the one from Diego della Palma, it's around 23,50 and it lasts me for days. My skin is dry and my eye shape is droopy, also I touch my eyelids a lot and it never fades. Worth the money

Great upload! When i first used the Kat v D one I was pretty much in love. Though at certain times it seem like it dried up but then couple minutes itll glide again. One of my all time favorites is the Physicians Formula2in1 lash boosting eyeliner+serum. It's still slightly pricey but if u can use coupons or if they have deals it's a steal😊 Nyx epic ink liner is pretty good too but not sure if its beginner friendly or maybe it's just cuz I have small eyes and a heavy hand but it's really inked if that makes sense.

I have used both the stila and kvd liners and this happened to me when I used the stila one all last year. I thought maybe it was a bad batch because I remember when I first bought a stila liner back in the day it would go on so smoothly and effortlessly. Now it just applies bad. Kvd was my go to for a 3 day music festival and my liner was still intact the whole time I used it.

I loved this kat von d eyeliner, but then I tried the kat von d dagger liner 😍😍I’m obsessed. I’ve always had the easiest time doing my eyeliner with gel liners and liner brushes but it’s like a liner brush tip on the dagger liner!!

I used it and it did not work for me, it is not waterproof, it would bleed if I rubbed the corner of my eye, even on part of my lower lashes, it was covered after a week and when I wanted to uncover it, the ink ran in an exaggerated way, a disappointment :(

I'm using Stila right now and its alright. I'm going to go back to my KVD one and try it out again! The ITcosmetics eyeliner is okay, its a gel formula and its such a mess to clean it up. I use cleanser to wash my makeup off and the black would smear all over my face. Super difficult to clean off if I don't go in with a waterproof makeup remover first unlike the Stila's.. Both liners do smudge on me but I've come to accept no eyeliner can be waterproof haha

Please review Thrive causemetics eyeliners and mascara. I bought them and they are fantastic. I would like to see what you think of them. I wear contacts as well. I have watery allergy eyes and they didn’t run or smudge and I have blonde short lashes and this mascara lives up to the hype. I’ve seen it on Instagram and Facebook and thought I’d give it a try. Because the only other mascara that live up to the hype for me have been the Kevyn Aucoin mascara, Makeup Forever extravaganza smoky waterproof, and Dior mascara. So I wanted length and this gave me length and volume. Anyway love your videos!

Wish you would have tested how waterproof they are. A lot of the eyeliners I’ve tried claim they are waterproof but if submerged too long, it will start to flake away or look smudged.
