@@familytreenutshistorygenealogy It is among the Historical Association members anyway. LOL There is also the Feast of the Hunter's Moon held each fall (last of Sept-early Oct) that brings history alive covering Indigenous Americans, the French fur trade, Colonial American fur trade and expansion, War For Independence, etc. You should check it out and talk to some of the vendors and reenactors. One of the vendors is a descendent of Daniel Boone. Another event you may like is the "Trail of Courage" held in Rochester, IN. Descendents of some of the primary families have come over from Europe for that event in the past. Then you have the Kankakee Marsh (Kankakee Valley Historical Society- Wheatfield/Kouts, IN) which brought in many foreign royalty and others for hunting and fishing in the late 1800s- early 1900s. Baum's Bridge is where the reenactment was held (still may be) when I was able to attend.

Camped at Prophetstown many times and explored everything in your video. I’ve studied and read many different historical accounts of the battle and of Tecumseh. Your video, Colonel Martin, is by far the best on KZbin. Good job. All your videos are excellent!

Thanks for the enjoyable and very informative video. I'm a proud Miami Indian whose ancestors have lived in nearby Peru, Indiana for many centuries. Chief Little Turtle and other Miami chiefs our in my family tree. Where did you find the various Native tribes locations and trails map shown during the 3:16-3:22 segment?

I remember reading about Tecumseh having had the ability of visions, supposedly having predicted a solar eclipse and the New Madre earthquake.

Yes this definitely is an interesting topic for sure. Was this hocus pocus to validate their leadership, or was it some sort of devine blessing? That would be an interesting road to explore.
