One of the crappiest representations of the Battle of Waterloo of all time; "I've got him in my sights sir" Like fuck you do private, you're carrying a Baker Rifle, accurate at maybe 200 yards, not thousands. What they definitely do have however, is plenty of flags on both sides...I know Armies in the day used flags as rallying points and regimental identifiers, but each battalion would have 2 flags...and there wouldn't hundreds just above tents and, wtf is with all the earthworks and ditches? I know Ridley Scott says "were you there, no, shut the fuck up" but Jesus, piss poor effort and even as a film it was slow, dull and a nearly 50 year old man shouldn't be playing Napoleon at Toulon because he was only 25 at the time, and de-aging people hasn't got that good yet where they don't just end up looking like dead-eyed puppets. Rant over. Sorry.

Waterloo ( 1970) is the best depiction ..

Stanley Kubric had the plans and intentions to make a 'Napoleon-movie'. It didn't happen. Too bad. Now we have this...which is also bad in another way.

Shockingly bad - read Bernard Cornwall’s book instead - based on the accounts of eye witnesses
