@@shinankoku2 it's just weird to continually point out that the chinese faction are chinese in such poor-taste ways, particularly alarming when you consider that svalarheima has a white supremacist terrorist cell written into it which they continue to add fluff to (gunnar in the dire foes pack) - corvus belli are almost lucky that they are not more popular because this is really not a good look

@@DanceLikeANitwit agreed it should be Yu Jing hell if anything because I thought the point of calling them Yu Jing is to make it clear that there is no connection to modern China. In there defense they do a positive Yu Jing faction video.

Actually in the fluff of the setting we see that there is historical connection to modern China. Also, on the point of supremacy and nationalism, the whole setting is filled to the brim with radical ideologies, this is one of its shticks. PanOceania has its white supremacists; Haqqislam, despite embracing enlightened and philosophic attitude towards religion has its hassassins who are fanatics; Yu Jing has brainwashed political prisoners as suicide troops, the kuan shi; Nomads have one of their three capital ships called Bakunin, guess what goes there... So, were the stupid noises and "Chinese hell" totally unnecessary - yes, absolutely. Is nationalism and political cliches poor taste in the setting? No, that's a main feature. Every faction is a nasty place to live in.

Past batreps with Bos and Killian got me curious... that was what got me into Infinity some years ago. You could at least use painted minis renders for these new ones. I don't like how they're done these days, just a customer thought :)

Keep the good work and post more. Infinity has been the last 5y and always will be my favourite game. And that from someone who plays miniature wargames since the early 90s and only was introduced to Infinity 5y ago. The new CODEONE allows for quick games with new players who want to try but the gazillion rules of N3 were daunting :)

This is such a crisp battle report! I wasn't expecting to be so comfortable not knowing what the exact numbers being rolled were but it cuts down on a LOT of downtime that other batreps have

but has a new player i just have so many questions.. like at one point both people die in a roll off? from what i read in the rules this couldnt happen..

@@wisdomfpv1499 The JuJak and the Nokken both suffer one wound because the JuJak was attacking with a template. Templates do not require dice roll. So the dice roll of the Shotgun of the Nokken was not a non confronted roll. Both succeded and both failed their saving rolls.

Because they're computer renderings and the painted ones are actual models probably

I think that's the problem for this kind of battle report. The actual painted ones are photos the one-coloured are models. That allows the camera to move because they are 3d. With photos being 2d it wouldn't be possible.
