i agree on the quick mags but id still prefer the URK grip for this one simply because it still has a postive effect on recoil, while making that reload a little faster. pretty much a must have on anything other than the skorpion which needs the verical grip as it cant take a muzzle

there's a place somewhere between close and medium range where a lot of gunfights in this game happen and that's where the HK shines. Too far from pdw/smg to beat you with better movement stats, and too close for other assault rifles/carbines to beat you with better recoil.

Frankly it handles the pdws fine right up close too, as it's ttk is strong. It just doesn't have the uptime to mow down 10 people at once

I run it with the S E-5 grip and heavy barrel as it reduces recoil evenly. I tested your loadout and found that this works better for me.

I kinda like it, gods know why. I run the Holo sight on it because I can keep track of the target better even with the gun bouncing around so much. I agree with your attachment philosophy. Better to make the gun good at what the gun does and give it a proper niche, instead of forcing it to be more average. Same reason I don't like extended mag FAMAS. I'll definitely give your build a go!

Holo sight sounds smart with high horizontal recoil for closer range, but at midrange wouldn't it be harder to track with more visual screen clutter? Good luck with the HK build, maybe try between the BCM and URK grips based on my comment section

@@ClippyTactical Holo has an incredibly tiny dot, so I find it really easy at long and short range, but lose track in the middle. And alas, impossible to see on Kodiak

Yeah it has a great mix of stats, definitely a good choice to main (you will have to main it to get used to the recoil spray)

i'm not sure why but i can use it with 1.15 horiz and vert recoil. i guess Ak-15 being my first favorite weapon horizontal recoil and getting a hang on the FAL it doesn't bother me as much having to tame those suckers. you have convinced me to reduce horizontal on things like the Famas, UMP45, and Vector over vertical and does feel better, but G3 i can live with a 1.0 horiz and 1.3 vertical

Properly 1 of the weapon only felt good only when using it running assault class for passive stats, using any other class immediately became a headache bcs of either have to sacrifice recoil or reload time

​@@ClippyTactical (my experience is largely 32x32) supp long/flash hider. vert/gunfighter/urk. quickmag. 2-4x mainscope, 1x red dot. i do not use the First shot recoil attachments as i find those to be the minority of my gunfights and overall the least important of them, prefering to prioritize a more common situation which is close-mid range fights. i find it to be very viable, but not outstanding in my own experiences? relies HEAVILY on headshot accuracy. against dmr/sniper you have AN option, albiet not a great one as snipers always have the advantage at long range. although id say youd be very surprised at how reliably you can 2 tap a sniper before they react with good semi auto taps ( i always use full auto, but heavily encourage single taps at medium-long range) the majority of the time you will be using red dot, staying NEAR lmg suppression ranges for your engagement (not running in, but not sniper far back either). again unfortunately with this weapon, headshots help a TON. and would only not go for them if i had the drop on 3 enemies and firing into the cluster was easier. due to having a 2-4x and utilizing semi auto, you have a good chance to be able to 1-2 tap a headglitcher in close-mid range, which is better than a majority of of the guns in the game. with only a few meta options having low enough recoil to reliably compete in that situation. in short, i dont think its an amazing gun, when compared against the FAL, mp5, kriss, and vector. but it can compare to the aug- with a bonus on ttk in close range when sacrificing precision through automatic fire and similar range viability when single tap. one of the few guns you might never feel the need to swap off due to its versatility if you can control its vertical recoil. minimize the horizontal recoil and pull down hard, as you cant compensate for random horizontal, but can always pull down harder. that being said, if you are stretching its automatic fire range, perhaps a vertical grip may be beneficial.

😅😅😅 There's a reason for that, I consider it the weakest gun in the game right now having used them all a bit and looked at the spreadsheet numbers - I will get around to it but it's prob my last gun i'll cover!

I agree with your assessment. I want to like the HK, but I do not. It doesn't really do AR or SMG/PDW stuff better than the alternatives in either category, and I don't think it really strikes a balance of being decent but not excellent at both either. The reload speed is an extra bummer, especially for such a high ROF gun. It's downtime is high. Not to mention that the angry sound of the HK attracts the attention of every enemy within 100m.
