Fun in the moment for you but completely gutting for the team to see their hard work destroyed. If the bot is still attempting to fight then keep going otherwise just let them get counted out.

The reason why endgame able to be the top bot: 1) The rules changed at the season 3, which stated aggression and damage can be achieved by ramming opponents instead of the need of active weapon. Original purpose was to 'nerf' horizontal spinner and favor control bots. But this rule give verts a huge advantage since they can ram opponent using wedge even while weapon stop. While horizontal are bad at pushing competition. 2) The flexibility of switching wedges and forks are reason endgame is unstoppable because it have longer forks which can always get under opponent before other did, and switch to wedge when deal with horizontal spinner. 3) maximum spinner speed is 250mph. This will reduce the damage power but verts aren't affected because their job is send opponent flying.

If verts had such an unbeatable advantage then the last WC final would have been between two traditional verts... except it wasn't. It was between bots that beat traditional verts. Now the natural evolution would be that bots that beat verts become more common until verts are less effective. Then bots that beat the bots that beat verts become the option of choice to win. Then verts come back to beat those bots and so forth. Verts are good right now because verts are effective in general. Bots in general have become more refined since Season 2. I think this is a good thing.

End game actually has very limited reach with its weapon compared to other bots, but once it does make contact - parts start flying ^^

Man the driver showed some real skill with some maneuvers wreaking havoc

Yes that vert spinner is heavy and dangerous. But that that driver's skills are ON POINT. Almost always aggressive, yet still having high control over the bot managing to almost always keep the front pointed towards the other bot, where all of it's strength lie. And when not aggressive, more often than not managing to pick out just the right moment to counter attack. And when picking a wrong moment, managing to quickly recover. No wonder the guy started at 11 years old and the dad said "he's better than 80% of drivers".

Didn't mean to offend the kid but out of all word he chose 'Perfect'. It's not even overstatement to call it 'Rough Phoenix' but more like 'Prototype Phoenix' or 'Experimental Phoenix'. Just look at it, the hull looks like SOW's with Tombstone weapon on top in the center. It might work against something likes HUGE but bots with such HUGE profile are minority. Well, HUGE might be one of the top dogs now, but that doesn't mean you have to disregard other designs that HUGE destroyed.
