+unlucky1353 Back when I was an Air Cadet we had a squadron open day including some supervised shooting with our .22 bolt action rifles. A couple of WW2 veterans had a go and were able to run through a whole 10 round clip in about 5 seconds. Not incredibly accurate but you would be amazed at the rate of fire that can be achieved.

Who.M.D we tend to feel empathy towards human being even if they' are not real. And also because we have the so called "mirror neurons": when we observe someone doing something, our brain activates the same neural scheme we would use whilst doing the same very thing. So said in a simplistic way, our brain imitates the actions of the character it sees on screen at such a level that it starts "believing" it's really us who's being shot.
