That is awesome, I have not seen a simulator like that playing with Battlefield 2042. Where do I get a ticket for that ride?

Dear @departedreality great stuff! Since quite some time I am planning to build this for me for star citizen. I got the hardware ready and planned but how do you get the motion data from the game? Especially how do I translate it? For example like a game with gravity and for one without. For games with gravity I would probably try to simulate g-force by a rolling/pitch movement (i mean it will be only 20-30° but at least something) and for space game just mimic the plane orientation to the ecliptic plane? I am confident to be able to controll the motors and the electronics etc. but how do you get the data from the games? Thanks a lot for any hint!

Especially your hardware setup will make it much easier for me. But I want a custom control for the game and data (reaction). Hence the question regarding the game data, not the hardware. ;)

I assume this is using the joystick as a FlyPT source?

It was tricky to get the peripherals to work on BF2042. I used x360ce to combine all the controls into a virtual Xbox controller. The flight stick is a modded Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, pedals are Thrustmaster TPR, collective is a Virpil
