battlefield 2 was the best battlefield imo because it had infantry only mode. the guy is a really good pilot but i would of left his server within 5 minutes, im not being cannon fodder.

Get on another chopper and dogfight him. I havent seen any modern combat with just infantry most of the time countries use drones and if they do send people they always go in with air support or land vehicle support

Silk have you got many thoughts on the state of the attack helicopter? I've always proffered it to the scout but it just doesn't seem to feel as satisfying being the pilot anymore

Attack heli's are fun for console, we can do more standoff attacks. Attack heli's, if you have two people are better for most players, but the scout is better for the top tier pilots like silk. Attack helis should get a speed buff in my opinion.

@@bjblitz2701 ya I play on PC but when I fly I swap to controller. Played for years on controller so I'm just used to the sticks at this point for helis and can't wrap my head around using mnk. The attack heli is strong with a gunner in comms but the scout is still superior overall and more fun although much much harder to aim on sticks. Been trying to learn to fly on mnk just so I can fly the scout and not the attack

You have to stop and think for a minute, look at the way he's maneuvering this helicopter. There are no hacks that can give you unreal movement like this. The game doesn't have hardly any recoil anyways

Oh man, how best to word this... straight up and no messing I guess. I think reaps has the better aim regarding accuracy and a slow methodical gamestyle but is toxic and immature, I think you have more action and aggression with faster reactions because of the aggressive attacks, a mature audience engagement, zero toxicity (fun when done right) and generally a lovely stream to watch, also maverick, the little conehead. Bless him.

2042 is in the same predicament as was BF3 in that, they equipped the majority of the player base with anti-vehicle weapons, but many gamers have the same attitude "I want to play MY game MY way, someone else can shoot down the chopper, or kill the tank, . . . . " The problem with that is . . oh, wait . . . 154-0. DICE can equip all they want, but they can't un-equip the skill that some players have. and they can't make gamers play loadouts other than what those players want to use. This video is a prime example of a dedicated gamer (one who hones their craft) equipped properly with skill and attitude, up against casuals who want to just Pew Pew around the map. (what I call the COD mentality - Run around with their trigger taped on full auto) In a recent stream, one dude dedicated his whole game to being Liz and being a thorn in the side of pilots . . . Silk The difference between that lobby and this one is obvious. P.s. I cringe at adding this, because I know DICE watches your videos, but i'm surpised they haven't added dedicated SAM turrets to the game. I enjoy living vicariously through your vids. All true points. But most people play to have fun and let off steam, and are not sweatlords. Can't compete against content creators who do this shit full time. And just like any sport/skill/game, there are people who are world class, and then everyone else, but with video games, these people play against the public because it gives them views and what else are they supposed to do? The difference with sports, etc, is that any professional athlete won't be playing basketball at the court in your neighbourhood. In that sense the video game skill level is kind of messed up. And if you don't particularly enjoy using vehicles (but love the infantry gameplay like I do), then you put up with death from above a few times in a round. It's like being bitten by a mosquito, bothersome but you put up with it because you like being outdoors. If it becomes a real annoyance, then I equip Liz, but that can get boring real quick and who wants to devote their game to taking out air? It's not fun so you go back to what you were doing.

You are only partially correct. People often ignore the choppers, expecting someone else to deal with them. However, even when players are trying to shoot them down, ace chopper pilots are nearly immortal. Take this video, for example. You can see and hear many attempts to shoot him down. Mediocre pilots are not a problem in 2042, but ace pilots are incredibly hard to kill and ruin entire matches with their domination. We need more effective AA options.

Kinda takes away from the whole "BEST MOST LETHAL COOL SWAG PILOT" thing when you have your repair fella flying around with you solely repping you and doing nothing else. I know you're a good pilot without him, but even if you get someone as good as you, they'll lose cause they cant outshoot you while you have reps and they dont. Also, hard to say Lis needs a nerf when you can go 150+-0 and regularly drop high kill games. Just reeks of a heli user wanting the only real counter to his playstyle nerfed.

You cant be serious right? Isnt it enough for you that you can one shot helis with an almost hitscan sniper tank, with regenerating TV missiles and with the M5? Is it not enough for you that the AA outdamages an Attack heli that hits all of his rockets and the gunner hitting all of his shots (and the AA doesnt have any form of damage drop lol)? Is it not enough for you that you have to look at a heli for 2 seconds as rao to force him to use flares, disable its weapons and retreat? You all are so simple minded its actually insane. Sit into a heli, perform at least somewhat well and look what a horror flying becomes once the enemy team is annoyed by you so much they actually use the stuff the game offers them. Finally stop crying about helis being OP. As long as its counters are even more broken the helis should be even more overpowered. The stuff existing in this game right now would almost make it reasonable to give the helis nukes. And btw, if that guy has such an aim in the scout, you wouldnt have a chance against him on the ground neither.
