It’s not too terrible, it still feels like battlefield, minus the retarded characters, if they weren’t in the game it would be better, despite some of the lag with the 128 player server it is still pretty playable for people with lower end pc’s if the servers were a bit better I’d give it more props

Unpopular oppinion here: I actually enjoyed the campaign. Sure it wasn't as michaelbayish as the modern warfare series, but it was still a very solid story. It felt more like a bourne-meets-the-hurt-locker thing and if you still want dramatic impact, SPOILER ALERT the freakin nuke Paris. Freakin paris. I'm just sorry they almost completely left out Dima in BF4 when there was so much more potential to that character, as if changing the actor wasn't enough. Also, the aerial combat sequence was pretty awesome.

I also found that the soldiers that you fight with in Bf3 looked more like real american soldiers. In other games in COD for example the soldiers look fake and there uniforms are nothing like the ones in real life. I also found it realistic to have a mortar sequence.

I liked the campaign on Battlefield 3 too. I mean, sure it's not as immersive as COD, but the story has some scenes that hit in the feels. Also, the background music just beautifully fit these scenes, I love it!

Ali Haidar The campaign is more immersive than Cod Modern warfare and Cod Modern warfare 2. Because Bf3s campaign wasn't crazy like theirs. It was more grounded in reality. They showed terrorists. Who actually capture you then kill you. The soldiers in BF3 are very real looking if you have ever looked at real pictures of American soldiers in Iraq. Where as in COD the american soldiers dont have any sort of formal clothing which breaks the immersion for me.

What has happened to battlefield? BF3 was great in multiplayer aspect. But with BF4 being terrible and BF hardline that is coming out, is just a disappointment.
