I saw the footage of the Narvik map, and there was HMS Warspite who fought in the 2nd battle of Narvik, as she was, IN 1916! Not as she was in WW2 after her massive rebuild. That’s when I decided not to buy Battlefield V.

Idiots really compare reality in games! Why not read books and find out yourself what happened. Its just a game, you dont decide the reality when it comes to games. And for a fact not a fun of battlefield but the game did not announce that it was gonna be a historically accurate game.

@@Ellie-qv4pu Maybe they didn't claim it was going to be historically accurate, but I understand the frustration when it comes to inaccuracies like these in a game centered around a specific era (WW2). If they are including a historic vehicle from that era then I understand that people can be upset when It's far from accurate ingame. It's also less excusable in a video game with a single-player campaign where you play through very specific moments in history (like the heavy water operation in Norway, which was conducted by a larger group of people who's names became well known for their actions) in comparison to games like Post Scriptum or Hell let loose which are multiplayer only.

Narvik was a battle opposing French and poland vs germans..

This is a lie because british soldiers never went on land in Narvik. Norwegians, the Foreign legion of France and soldiers from Poland did this.

Wtf were you on when you wrote this comment? XD Yes, british soldiers fought on land in Narvik. The british navy also took part in two naval battles some months earlier.

@@Rubycore So inform me about where they were on land fighting. They might have launched a smaller attack i have not heard about but in general were they not set shore. Keep the Royal Navy out of this. My comment was about soldiers!!

@@Rubycore I am going through the whole story now in a norwegian book which takes a detailed look om the major happenings day by day. So far is it obvious that there were quite a mess with discussinons on toplevel in the british admirality and the british army on site.The navy did an important job on sea and as artillery for groundforces but I have so far not found much about the army waiting on the ships. I will come back to you as I proceed.

@@Rubycore You are right :-) The british soldiers were on land but not as much as they should and could, but that is another story with great complexity. The allied could have won if better things had been done and more force were put in there, so I made wrong conclusions and thought the british army had not landed tropps at all. I was wrong!
