Unpopular opinion - I actually rather like Hardline (Can agree with the points on the single player though, didn't really get it for that however)
@jroldo83539 жыл бұрын
Rory O'Neill Part of the reason games suck today is because people like you buy every single piece of garbage they release. BF4 was still fine, so I assume you bought Hardline because it was new and it was "battlefield". Maybe wait 5 months before shelling out 120 dollars on shit next time.
@FakeMessiah949 жыл бұрын
Roldo Mustache How about treating my view with respect as I do yours rather than just attacking me for my alleged reasons for actually liking it? I actually picked it up for £25 on the day of release which I feel was pretty damn cheap, and I had played both Alpha and Beta and actually really enjoyed it, hence my purchase. Guess I should really be condemned for that, huh?
@NathanCassidy7219 жыл бұрын
Roldo Mustache On the contrary, it's ass-hats like you that keep the problem around rather than solving it.
@NathanCassidy7219 жыл бұрын
You should never have to defend something that you like because at the end of the day nobody has any say in your tastes but you. Frankly, I think a lot of people have said the game is fun BUT it does not deliver on the content-to-price-tag ratio. Considering they are trying to sell you a incomplete product at the price of a complete one and with consumer confidence in the triple-A industry at an all-time low, they were probably better off not releasing it.
@FakeMessiah949 жыл бұрын
Nathan Cassidy Thank you for at least having a mature response. I can agree with your points there. I still only bought it on release due to finding it for that price which I felt was reasonable, I agree it is not worth its current normal retail price. Had I not found it for the price I got it for, I would have waited for a sale of some kind.
@DinsRune2 жыл бұрын
Reminds me of the SWAT games on PC, which I can recommend. Arresting people is the preferred method to subdue them- you're supposed to be a peace officer, after all- but it can be challenging and dangerous. It's fun to try and go fully non-lethal for the challenge, but not full-on required except for the best score.

I just finished episode 8 of this game and I am really enjoying it! It is the first game I've played where you actually get a choice to be stealthy or just violent and guns blazing. Most games that say they give you that choice are really just lying, you have to be stealthy to survive. This game does it well. I've chosen the non stealthy route and it works out great! The ammo can be limited at times, you die pretty quickly, and the guns take a long time to reload, but it is still fun to play it as a run and gun shooter. My only issue with the game is that it is too short. It would probably take longer if I played it stealthy haha.

I thought he'd mention how the game overstates its inspiration from watch dogs. One of the basic weapons is a collapsible baton, the arrest takedown animations take ages, and the game has an achievement for tagging people in single player called "Watchn' Dawgs" or something.
@cyborgcatrj67949 жыл бұрын
To be fair, I did like the game for its change from the America vs everything style of modern shooters. I always found it funny when I arrested someone and held the melee button too long and hacked them in two with the collapsible baton that makes the same sound as a katana.

Actually, weightlifters and sprinters rely largely on the same physical capacity: power. Granted, there are obvious sport specific differences, and weightlifting also has an absolute strength component, but the two really aren't all that far from each other in terms of what it requires of the body. Anyways, I enjoyed the video.

@AfferbeckBeats9 жыл бұрын
I was going to comment this myself. I can see the metaphor he was trying to make, but yeah weightlifters and sprinters are fairly similar in what they do. Successful weightlifters and sprinters are both are genetically explosive people who train to increase their explosive power. Most good weightlifters though are shorter with shorter limbs and longer torsos, more of an asian body type, and most sprinters are longer limbed, more of an african body type.

Hey yatzeeh short correction for 3:00 You aint arresting them youre threatening them, he doesnt show a badge he just points his Finger (and Gun) at them, why should they care if hes a cop or not if he holds a gun to your Head? Well the rest was surprisingly fair and a good mix between weak and strong sides of the game, especially for a (now sadly) yearly release game. But after this you continue your satirical bashing of games, no matter how good they are :P thats what makes zero punctuation so great, funny and outstanding, but still its good you were quite fair with this game cause after all the negative feedback, the game can need some good publicity by a person that people actually still can trust :D Great job on the vid and see ya next week (hopefully with mortal kombat X)

I disagree on the combat/stealth gameplay notion. I believe it's important to always have both available, not as either you can choose to do one or the other, but rather you can switch between them. MGS5 does this pretty well now. What happens when you fuck up being stealthy? Go loud. What happens when you get too much heat on you? Dissapear. They're both integral to good action gameplay.
@DeMomcalypseLive7 жыл бұрын
Dominic Kane I don't think he was complaining about the core gameplay of it. He was just complaining that it's in every game now, so the idea of stealth/action doesn't feel new or that exciting. Kind of like cover based shooting in most 3rd person games. It's not a bad system, its just that every game does it, so its not all that exciting or new
