Hoth was a major blow to the rebellion and a hollow victory for the Empire. And yes, it's more interesting considering that even if the rebels don't escape, if they disabled the main weapon, it will still cripple the station.

There is no logic to resistance... They are way too emotional for logic, they will sacrifice 100 soldiers to save 5, ideally in open forward assault..

Endor Imperial last stand was really tought to get, teams actually have to be balanced for that.

Well, Kamino is disrupted by a serious glitch, but since Emperor is one of the most powerful heroes, Droids can actually do really well. I have experienced victory there in about 70 % of the time, while Endor last stand Imperial victory is really rare, its like 1 to 5 % chance, since most of the time rebels either push and once they push into the compound, they are hard to push out of there, or imperials win at the first stage, without rebels stealing the ATAT or at the second stage, with ATAT destroyed. And the Kamino glitch ruining some of the percentage of victory for separatist... You cannot overtime in the barracks :(

I liked the way an explosion looked in the middle of the cutscene with sunset weather, while the classic mid-day sunshine brings out the best of classic Hoth, mostly the snow color.

Those are completely different. In Heroes vs Villains, you have the map where Maul fought ObiWan and QuiGon Jinn, while in the Galactic Assault, you have map that is Naboo streets with palace and inside of the palace, and the inside of the palace is part of this Galactic Assault map, third stage of it.
