I'll be honest Xarkun, the amount of times I've seen somebody smoke up and get radared and just sit there, or start smoking up after getting radared is rather disheartening.

@@Zapranoth-lf8nt yeah i see a lot of that really too, now to be fair if you're in a match that has multiple Gearing's with potentially 17+km torps, i might forgive that. But why take a radar mino outside of brawl or ranked? That i can't forgive

@@Xarkun You WOULD think that they'd know and understand that at LTier, but it seems at least 60%of the player base are more casual than dedicated and don't pay attention to such details. I get accused of hacking frequently by Xbox Mino players for 1 shotting, or hitting them in smoke because i understand the core mechanics of the game maybe slightly better than they do 😓

It's just weird that the Tallin, which is 3 tiers lower, has torps and sonar. Without it's gonna be difficult to be aggressive.

So to be fair, I'm not all the way into the video, but I have an argument to make. While NOT LEGENDARY tier, I think our boy Stalinchad has some competition. While not for purchase (yet), I think Agïr gives Stalingrad a serious run for it's money. While trading the Radar for a Sonar, the Sonar of Agïr is one of the BEST IN THE GAME, at 5.6km. It's got same amount of guns as Stalingrad, Same Caliber, better fire chance, and Torpedoes to cover any rushes or bold pushes by the red team. Im not gunna say "German Supremacy Agïr Better" but The ship performs EXTREMELY Similar, maybe better since German Cruiser AP is only matched or surpassed by the American Heavy Cruisers. While Agir is definitely a good ship, Stalingrad has much better AP shells. Not an opinion - the Stalingrad has the best AP penetration, shell velocity, and penetration angles in the game for a cruiser. Agir has a slightly higher alpha strike, but Stalingrad is far more consistent with AP damage due to the shell ballistics.

I would argue that Alaska is the closest competitor to Stalingrad. Has a lot punchier and consistent AP than Agïr and has radar which Agïr lacks.

The fact that neither the Alaska nor the Stalingrad have torpedo means they cannot bully DD's or Cruisers and contesting Caps. They are backyard betties. My Agir has eaten more Stalingrad's & Alaska's then I care to count if they come with 6km of me or a cap and are foolishness enough to contest it. If the Alaska & Stalingrad had torpedos they would be the best PERIOD. But without torps they dare not take on a DD at knife fighting range. My Z52 snacks on the regularly. Especially with the latest spotting mechanics with favor DD's.

Without a doubt the best cruiser at the tier if not the game, the only ship I might enjoy more currently is the Colombo. It's ability to just eviscerate ships just makes me...*excited monkey noises*

The thing is, stali is extreme. But it can be chocolate pudding if played wrong. I love what I can do with it, but at the same time, I was in buffalo this weekend and got 10 cits. Dev strike. Because ppl don't know how to play it. That's the problem. It's a skill level ship.

My only issue with the Stalingrad: it's so OP, I tend to play it recklessly to sometimes disastrous results.

yes. But sometimes you do end up getting away with it. And it’s completely ridiculous when it happens, but also pretty fun.

Kuznetsov with the various gun skills. Mikawa is one inspiration. Can’t remember who the second is. The mods are aiming systems, propulsion, concealment, and range. I chose range because the turret traverse is terrible with reload.
