Moving on can be quite difficult and this episode handled it really well. Not only for our favorite Admiral, but for the audience as well. It's crazy to me that next week our Battlestar Galactica journey reaches its conclusion.

Using a sporting term - the cast left nothing on the set. They gave us EVERYTHING they had for these last episodes. Just in this one, Eddie gave us Bill's heartbreak at the loss of Galactica, Katee gave us the acceptance of being beyond life, Grace gave us the agony of betrayal, AND the confusion of enlightenment, James gave us a transformation that could be trusted... there isn't a single performance that's less than excellent, including from the darling little girl Alexandra who gave us Hera's confusion and panic. Thank you Chris. As you know I've thanked you for every episode you've shared with us, and I've done so because I truly appreciate the time and effort you've invested in the show. BSG is challenging. It challenges faith, truth, perception, the nature of life, the rights of minorities, bigotry, systemic racism, 'big brother', military might, human rights, reproductive choice, worker safety, and above all, the value and devastation of hope, and you've watched, given honest reactions, questioned your own responses, and allowed the show give you new lenses to see issues through, and I admire the courage that takes. Thank you. Thank you for truly sharing YOUR journey with a show so many of us find to be meaningful. That you said you'd be re-watching, even after this project, where you've already seen each episode twice counting editing, warms the cockles of my heart. With only the finale arc to go, I would have recommend having tissues handy (knowing you've already seen it by now) and knowing also that you have a strong faith of your own, I'm really interested to see how the last entry sits with you. Seeing Gaius and Caprica Six interacting again was fantastic! And Jamie Bamber’s line delivery…”Gaius BALTAR?!?” 😂 awesome! The end is near. My heart breaks just thinking about it 😢

6:01 Caprica Six and Baltar actually spent the entirety of the occupation of New Caprica together and his time captive on the Ceylon base star in a throuple with D’Anna.

Oh no, Galactica's funeral dirge is Diaspora Oratorio (the song when they jumped to Earth); Grand Old Lady (and the other Adama/Wander derivatives) are the Remembrance of Galactica songs. BTW, Edward James Olmos directed this one; he's good. One thing this show is, that people who stop at the title don't realize, is that the show is really about the connections and the people- the story is, at its core, a human one (as ironic as that might sound). And for me personally, its the "watched the premiere with EJO, Grace, et al on the Universal lot after working on CSI" episode; not gonna lie- twas an interesting day

Valid, and sometimes it’s difficult to see, remember, and/or be able to appreciate the mystical part of life when emotions are present, especially feeling desperate and like you are losing your grip on the things and people you love. I love how Chris said he is the type of person to not lose hope because we need more people like that in this human run world. I appreciate it because I am the type of person to lose hope. I have many times.

When you rewatch the show after you finish it, you HAVE to keep us in the loop. Maybe do a short video per season explaining how it hits differently and things you have noticed that you don’t remember noticing before. Just a suggestion! I think it would be great! The second watch through any show makes me appreciate it so much more-if it’s written well like BSG!

The music you liked is the instrumental version of Wander My Friends, which we've heard a couple times already on the show. It's basically the Adama theme. Gaius and Caprica were together on New Caprica. But this really the first time in a while for them. We all thought Head Six was a chip. Most thought Head Gaius was a chip to. But this is when it all starts to come together. And to fall apart. Since our host has already seen the end, then he knows that this is the path of gods and angels. Spoilers for anyone who hasn't actually seen it yet. It was when Kara returned that I realized that Head Six and Head Gaius were not chips. They were like but not the same as New Kara. And the Five. For lack of a better word, "angels". Kara (old and new), the Five, Gaius and Caprica were all, to different groups, messianic figures. And so was John, Caville, just an evil one.

I have a suggestion for a new series that as far as i know no one has ever mentioned. The show is called Humans. I really think you would like it and I've never seen it reacted to.

My head canon is that Cavil frakked up her programming. Boomer was supposed to blink out of existence during resurrection...but didn't. Sharon woke out of resurrection with a human freaking out in her head! This episode shows that all his emotional abuse & brainwashing hasn't killed Boomer. There's still a human in her head that's come out of hiding because Hera needs mommy. Boomer's backstory was being a young survivor of a disaster on a mining outpost. The Cylon Sharon might be estranged from her human emotions by Cavil's abuse, but Boomer to rising out of hiding to protect her niece! That's my head canon, anyway. What do you think?

When you’re finished with this series, watch the prequel series: CAPRICA. Is it as good as Battlestar? Nope. But it’s something to watch connected to the universe… And make sure you watch the Battlestar movie THE PLAN.

Earlier, you talked about the mix of serial and episodic, and it occurred to me that real life is a mix of the two. Adama refusing to acknowledge the mystical aspects that have repeatedly smacked him in the face was a little disappointing. The show is a brilliant treatment of religion, made more impressive by it being presented in a sci-fi show, where humanity frequently approaches godhood, understanding all and being capable of doing all.

All of us do. In the face of the unexplainable, we'll tell ourselves we remembered it wrong, that obviously that couldn't have happened that way, and rationalize as much as we can away. Humans are the experts at self-delusion.
