If you can close the gap and get this beasts into range of your heavy guns you can rip them to shreds in fast order. Getting their is the problem though since any competent player will try to avoid this scenario coming true.

I was completely ill aware of this game till you showed the specs of the manticore, thats really disappointing the game looks good. I wish more people knew about it, all my mates and me are pretty big BSG fans and they had no idea as well.

Hold up, clarification is needed; 0:46, it says that Cerberus is 1480 meters long and 1010 wide, but then in the specifications it states a plate diameter (which I presume is the disc within the three arms) of 1512 meters. A disc of that diameter would encompass the whole ship, so I shall assume it's an error for the moment, but that leaves the question of what the actual plate diameter is.

curious, how can the ship be 1010 meters wide if the disk is 1523 meters wide (diameter) wide is not the cross sectional width but the edge to edge distance along the ships X axis

The Cylons would make a Cerberus / Basestar Hybrid by the time of Blood and Chrome. Both Designs did what I would do. Combine the TOS and TRS Aesthetic. This is Frakking Great.

Yes, usable in any skirmish mode and in the campaign. It also seems like the Galactica herself is involved in the story mode, as well as the Battlestar Athena, the Jupiter originally assigned to Picon.

this ship is vulnerable to torps..have `1 set of fighters to defend this ship.

Bring a fleet of battlestars and Adamants, all loaded full torps. Turn 1 just turn your ships into formation and launch all your vipers. Watch the ENEMY fleet, not your own, and pick out the slowest ship. Turn 2 set everyone full attack and give this ship a full broadside of fish. If they have a cerberus/basestar/argus this will blast it clean off the map. If they have multiple it will take one one which makes the odds much easier for you, and in 4 turns time you can blast another off the map with just your Adamants. If they dont have any capitals.... well this tactic will also kill Talons, vs smaller ships it will miss, but you should be able to beat these smaller fleets easily, 10+ squadrons of viper twos will wipe any subcapital fleet, even the dreaded Cerastes anti-viper ships!

What I don't understand is how do robot servants, get the industrial infrastructure to build these ships? Like one minute there relying on colonials for everything from repairs to upgrades, from Greystone industry's, the next there building there own fleets. I get that there original ships were built for them by the colonies to use as there soldiers but after that how could they hide a shipyard?

Space, Is very big, hiding in space is super easy. Unlike the colonials, machines have no need of life-supporting habitats. They could just jump to nay lifeless star anywhere. Once you have a ship with mining capabilities, and a ship with manufacturing capabilities the sky is the limit. All they would have had to do is hijack a few of those during their uprising, and jump to somewhere random, start mining, building and assembling parts, build your fist larger space dock, and a few more mining vessels, and boom the Cylon fleet is born.

The Cylons, have no need of food, air, or water. (at est until they started doing stuff) They seem to work well together without the need for things like pay, and time off. Their population isn't limited by growth and gestational periods, they can just build more of themselves. All together this means that they should be able to create new infastrutre much faster than hmmans could ever dream of.

If they are keeping to my understanding of the 1st Cylon War, The 1st-gen Cylon fighters/Raiders still had to be piloted by Centurions. So the unmanned drones mentioned in the video would be far more rudimentary compared to what we've seen in the TV series.

+zam023 Actually Cylon Raider ships are sentient hybrids of flesh and machine. The ultimate 8 models were the perfection achieved, aswell the child hybrid and the Oracle. So not really, Scars death showed they arent completely machines, but more than what is known. -You can guess my side here...
