Battletech Alpha Strike seems to work best with light mechs and vehicles. Vehicles are fragile and any hit makes you roll on the motive / movement table for damage, even if it still has armor

Just did a playthrough of Rhondas Irregulars Tanks Alot scenario. Love me some tanks in alpha strike. My number 3 Light Galleon tank was the last tank standing. It outlived the Manticore, Von Luckner and the Demolisher.

New mechs/vehicles look great but based on previous KS project comments I will wait for retail. I have not had a great start with a missing mech (Locust) in my Alpha Strike box, and getting duplicate Urbanmechs from two salvage boxes.

Salvage boxes typically aren't great buy choices they're completely random you could get the same mini over and over again

At around 10:55 - all those J. Edgars have the TUR special, so unless there was terrain blocking line of sight they all could have shot that Locust. Would it have been better? Maybe not.

Jared Blando has written some cool rules for an escalating campaign, where you have resource points to repair damaged units and buy new replacements.
