You do not need to show commercials or have ads everywhere to sell a gamepass. Xbox uses gamepass to sell games. It a huge marketing tool. If the game is good then it will reach the gamers. No worries.

Rare Replay was largely possible because of the emulation of the 360 on the XB1. They'd need to develop a whole thing just to do it on PC, as the alternative is natively porting 9 different 360 games with different engines to PC. Perfect Dark 2 is rumored to be the game from The Collective. So you might just get it.

Just a stray thought, why does the Dark Queen have those weird scuba-like glasses? This is just a theory, but they say the Queen doesn't have any power. However, we do know that she did have powers, like the spinning around, and the disappearing into the ground and stuff. So, what if this is how the Dark Queen looks without hew powers? And in the trailer, she does seem to get them back, so maybe after that she will return to her former looks. Maybe those weird glasses would become those Black Cat-like glasses she seemed to have in the NES game. Maybe. I know it turned out those "glasses" were just the shadows in her eye-sockets, but who knows.

Seeing this new formula you're using on the game is a lot confusing to me since the toads are tough, radical and brutal guys to me. The kind that usually gives the scare face when facing the enemy (for the bosses is after the scary+funny ones xD). Not on a Mortal Kombat level, but not the playful type like Michelangelo from Mutant Ninja Turtles. The videos you're uploading are getting me pumped for these new format, since we can see the passion of everyone that are participating on the project, but continues to feel like it doesn't have the essence of the Battletoads. Hoping for a great game like the other fans, but i can't avoid thinking that it would be awesome to see the next game be totally different from that one. Btw Dark Queen as a super hot dominatrix is the real thing. lol 😆

Battletoads was expressly designed to be a TMNT clone in the day. The memory you have of the toads is incongruous with reality. There was even a bog standard cartoon pilot in the 90s that they created with that exact intent.

Exactly a pilot because it wasn't good enough. But since we have these new animations of She-ha and Thunder Cats for the new kids maybe the cartoonized toads can be a success. If you search for screens and even look for the Battletoads game on SNES (since it has much more to analyse compared to the NES one) or the arcade game you'll see that they are the cool and tough type. That's exactly why it was a great match to make the crossover with Double Dragon, since Billy and Jimmy are like them. Btw Rash as a playable character on Killer Instinct is another example of the badass image of the toads, and you can look for the Rash Easter egg on Grounded too. So in my point of view you're the one out of reality, bro.

The Battletoads always seemed goofy yet badass to me. The art for the NES game and the other instalments had that feeling. Even the in-game animations balanced the goofy-ness with the bad assert. I think this new game does a good job at capturing this based on the art and animations alone.
