Appareantly when it was first revealed, people were excited. It was just words describing a reboot which had the words "graphics", "drawn" and "hand". Then, the gameplay teaser for E3 came out. People started losing hope from the art style and now the reboot is getting balanced reception. I actually like it for how it is now, ignoring the new TTG-styled artstyle (Still kinda mad about the Queen though.) How did you guys fix this? Other than game speed, I want other answers.

They didn't really change anything. The only difference is that the haters aren't paying attention. As it turns out, vocal trolls on the internet can't do much other than complain, and if you wait long enough, they get bored and go away. This leaves the people who are actually interested in a product. Which is what we have here, the people who are actually interested. I'm sure plenty of people will check the game out on GamePass and have a perfectly good time. I'm personally quite excited for it. This and Crash are my most anticipated for this year, I love cartoony games.

I already Pre-downloaded this game. Just waiting for launch day. The art style is an acquired taste, but not a bad decision. I watched the E3 trailer so many times when Porkshank got revealed. Meanwhile I played the Arcade Version and watched an episode of the cartoon. Played KI with Rash and his personality was spot on. I am a Pimple player myself, I want to feel how fluid he is.

You can dash frequently and pull enemies towards you and yourself towards enemies with your tongue. The combat is more arena focused like classic beat-em-ups but there will be at least one traditional platforming level if-not more.

@@BlueAura the question is WHY why the dash move is use to go faster this move is usually use to dodge why is not just press the d pad two times of use the analog fast to make him run and one thing that think he not fixed is how slow the enemy die like in the arcade game even and the 5 stage he not take this long to die( sorry my bad english i am a Brazilian and Brazilian speak Portuguese not spanish because i see a lot of Americans saying that Brazilian speak Spanish )

@@lyuanfranco7842 Enemies appear to die very quickly in the gameplay demos they've put out, even faster than beating the arcade enemies. I don't believe double-tapping to dash is supported due to the emphasis on the size of each arena, the original games featured smaller platforms with an emphasis on horizontal movement which made movement work for it's respective title. RARE, guys, I'm old fan of BattleToads and Beat'em'ups. I see you've developed decent combat system and wrote great music. But PLEASE, WHY do you use such dirty distasteful and trashy nickelodeon-like style? Let me argument that. I know BattleToads were some kind of "answer" on TMNT's popularity back in 90's and the game was inspired by comics and cartoons of 90's. Game was fun, looked cool and sounded awesome. Look at Rash in Killer Instinct 2. He looks awesome. Look at Rash here. He's subtle and ugly. But now we, fans of BattleToads, since NES version, see this and we (me and about 5 of mine closest friends who also have Xbox One consoles) don't understand why game looks so... ugly? It's only because of its visual style. Why did you have chosen that? If you wanted to cheer up your old fans - you're failed. I love battletoads but it's a pain to see them drawn like this.
