I always felt that these theme is the leitmotif, or the actual theme song that represents the Toads and the Lees teaming up. The heavy, coarse guitar riffs represent the Battletoads, and the anime-esque keyboard and speedy bass standing for the Lees.

One of the 2 longest stages in the whole game besides stage 3 -Those flame thrusts those Ninja doing cartwheels lol those punching Space Rats fun and what a Challenge! I used to say cheer up to my little sis when we played this whenever i'd visit my folks in 2003 on Snes were level 5 now that Ratship is done lol!!
