Battling Beavers On Trapper Cabin Creek

Beavers decide to dam up the creek beside the trappers cabin and have started to flood the area. It is late fall and things are freezing up so I set a trap for just one day, however, they have moved to the far end of the pond to the outflowing creek where there lodge is located. They are safe for the winter. #trapping #beavers #beavertrapping

Haha. Ya, I was too late in the season. The pond was frozen so they are hunkering down at the other end. I’m fine if they stay there, I like them around, but not damming our water source creek.

The crack sure did!! It was freaky walking on such clear ice. It was pretty thick but you never know on a creek
