I just came through all that last week bringing my new Diamond C FMAX210 hole from Dave’s in Winnemucca! This was a gnarly year! I’m a few hours south of you n Sam and we got over 6ft of snow and then like a foot of rain.

That's an incredible amount of snow. Reminds me of here in MN in the early 80s when we had snow up to the eves of a single story home. I think we got 70-80" this year, you may have beat us.

Dude, it’s the government, they would rather see it crushed or torched before they think about giving anything away as it’s being thrown in the trash. IE called my supervisor ask if I can use the wash bay to clean my truck and chipper off, it was a strait up no, 🤣 that was just a few hours ago. So don’t expect anything.

I see you hauling 30K lbs on your trailers with the ram 3500. Do you have to get a commercial vehicle license to drive that rig? How long did it take learn and get the license, and how much is the yearly cost for licenses and registration on the diamond C trailer? I am looking to upgrade to be able to haul heavy stuff, but I am trying to get a feel for the ongoing costs as compared to hiring it out and dealing with the cost/scheduling delays.

Yes class A CDL, when I got my license and what is required now is very different. Have to go do your own search for your state and how to obtain it, trailer is a one time registration, all your license is your personal card and truck for weight registration

This one was dumb luck since a few of my buddy’s work for the town and told me to send in an app. But it’s all about going to a site sometimes talking with a foreman walking into the main office out a face to the name always helps out getting started with this industry if you ask me
