This is the first time I noticed reoccurring characters, and now I wanna know the full story ;0;

I mean a simple idea could be that this is the continuation of "As you Like It." Since we do see glove dude, the main characters from both songs look similar enough, and with the art change I could see this is what he looks like a bit older, the girl in the hospital could be the same girl as well. If the glove dude is infact a future version of the main character, would explain why he went to the past in order to kickstart things with the girl for his past self/the main character, to save her down the line. Meanwhile the people hanging out with the MC are likely his bandmates. I say a lot of this because of the first verse, since the MC seems to be comfortable where things are going and is pretty self confident at this point with how his music career is going. That's the basic premise I think.

If the Bamkuchen cake is hollow in the center, then the title could actually mean "Hollow End." This song seems to be about the fears and feelings that come with redefining a relationship in the face of adversity and the desire to try and change one that would otherwise end prematurely through inaction, essentially avoiding a "Hollow End." Illness and healing are very prominent themes in Eve's work, and since the IV imagery seems to be centered around Crying Kid, it is safe to say that Crying Kid is sick. Since the video seems to suggest some sort of prior relationship between Tide Pod and Crying Kid before being separated by something, it could be that their relationship changed after Crying Kid was diagnosed. They are only standing close enough to fit in the same frame during the explosion at the beginning of the song, Tide Pod references the spot where they saw Crying Kid, who was facing away from them, cry for the first time, and they are seen occupying the same classroom at different times. Throughout the video you see The physical distance separating Tide Pod and Crying Kid, and then you see how Tide Pod struggles to find the right words to say to Crying Kid (the line, "I said it out loud" repeated over and over again like a chant or a regret), and finally you see them cross the distance between them and Crying Kid to actually touch them. The act of touching is a declaration that says it is no longer enough for them to simply occupy the same space. It is a symbolic act of redefining their relationship. In Eve's videos it very common to see only impressions of what a character is like (or rather, what a character has been through), so this protagonist feels very fleshed out in comparison. They are shown having other friends who help them in their endeavours, and they have one of the most clearly defined relationships with another single person that we've probably ever seen in an Eve video, barring the characters from "The Secret of that Girl" and maybe even "As You Like It" (speaking of which, it was nice to see Hand Head again at the end of the video, clapping at the union of people and the destruction of property). They've sang along to their song more than previous protagonists have, perhaps indicating that they are a more involved person who is willing to take the steps necessary to make a relationship work. Even their design seems to indicate a desire for progress, as evidenced by the blue and orange play button motif that pops up on Tide Pod's jacket and the end of the video. Everything about this character seems to scream, "Move on! Go forward!" It's nice to see the world of Eve's songs come together, and it's very refreshing seeing an Eve protagonist take a more active role in changing their fates. Over time the world Eve has created, much like our own, became full of more senseless violence, destruction, and cruelty than was originally thought possible, but through the development and reinventing of this world, it also became full of more life, color, and beauty than was originally thought possible. There is a lovely sort of chaos with everything that happens here, and I can't wait to see even more of it!

Robo-mask guy (0:13) seems like quite the everyday father figure. a bit of a goof 0:34, hangs out with the guys alot 0:59. But willing to spend time with his kid and listen to his problems 1:49. Dean Chou I’m not sure that’s the case because most inhuman things are tall, for example the glove guy and the people from tokyo ghetto i believe the inhuman creatures are just incarnations of humans that actually mean things to him, for example in this story the inhuman characters are oddly friendly signifying that they’re most likely friends unlike the ones from tokyo ghetto, and the human characters who actually appear in the video are usually the main subject of the music video.

TheEliteDerp Well I’m more referring to the main inhuman characters close to the main character. For example, back in As You Like It I initially thought glove mask guy was some older brother or something until I read through the comments that noticed the main character lifting up the glove guy’s mask to show that it was himself there (although we only get to see his mouth and I think chin) possibly saying that the masked guy was an alter ego of the main character, a persona to mask himself. Although I do believe that the masked man and his friends in this song are indeed other characters like some close people to the main human character.

The ending scene just has that something... the fact that not only does the boy reach out to the girl to save her, but his closest ally (friend?) is right behind him trying to catch him, and the others look like they are trying to form a rope to reach them as well. It's such a pure and dynamic scene.
