Just Machining - 05
In this video I will show you the full CNC machining process for the shown part.
You will see the first setup which include classic 3+2 axis work as well as 5x chamfer job.
Second Setup will be an easy setup with the same vise.
⚠️ Please do not mill / drill / cut aluminum dry! This is just for video reasons and will kill your tools and parts. ⚠️

The left over at the end is 0,15mm, so the part is easy to take of and the Mimatic blade will also make a nice surface

Awesome content. I really enjoy watching your videos and appreciate all tooling and feeds and speeds info. Machining at these speeds is so satysfying! 1500 m/min chips flying like bullets from the gun!

So happy I found this channel today, your content is 1000% quality and so satisfying to watch. As a noob machinist its also amazing so see your tooling with feeds/speeds for every cut you make. I always wondered, do you film with the doors open? Seems like it would insanely messy!

Wie auf wundersameweise die Macke auf einmal wieder weg ist :P Schönes Video, bisschen Hoffmann-lastig, aber jeder wie er mag. Mich triggern nur die ganzen unnötigen G0-Wege vor und nach den Werkzeugwechseln. :D Aber das Simultan-Entgraten ist Sahne ;)

@@terrellbradshaw3504 thank you! it was my fault I am playing around with the PP and I made a mistake, it is fixed and in the last video you see the actual version of the PP with much better connecting moves.

Thank you!! Time for tihis job, mhhh - The plain machine setup is 5 minutes as you just need to probe the the part there is nothing special. Then tool preset with is around 20 min. Programming is probably the longest part I dont know how long it tool as I did something else in between but lets say around an hour.

Thanks a lot! SolidCAM offers a function now, but this movement has been done with "classic" 5x simultaneous job

Ich könnte so einer 5 Achsen fräse den ganzen tag zu schauen, dagegen wirgt meine kleine Mikron VCE800 "Pro" ja fast schon langsam. Na gut ist sie wohl auch... xD tolle Video. Grüße aus Ba-Wü

Vielen Dank! Derzeit sind alle Teile aus der laufenden Produktion, somit bin ich ein wenig an das Material gebunden. Aber ich denke es kommen sicher auch noch Stahlteile.

Laaange Geschichte. Aber im Kern war es so, dass ich über die letzten Jahre meine Maschinen stark hochgerüstet habe und mich ganz langsam von Weldon etc. auf etwas anderes hochgestuft habe. Der einfachste Weg war damals der Weg zu Fahrion CentroP und da ich jetzt ein recht großes Sortiment davon habe nutze ich das natürlich auch. Ich bin auch mit der Performance der Spannzangen absolut zufrieden und kann Sie bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Schrumpfen ist natürlich nicht verkehrt ist aber nie mein Prozess geworden.

Another great video! Can you explain what Vc, Fz Ae and Ap are? I know the other ones, but I have never seen these terms before.

Thank you! Depending on your region you use those or not ;) do Ap is depth of the cut Ae the radial. Fz is the feed per tooth per revolution. and Vc is the rotation speed of the tool on the outside diameter.

Geile Videos. Ich würd mich mega freuen wenn eure Videos in deutsch währen, um auch den deutschsprachigen Raum mit qualitativ hochwertigen cnc Videos zu füllen (davon gibt es nämlich leider nicht wirklich viele).👍🏼

Ich geb dir recht es gibt fast nix in Deutsch. Das was ich bisher gepostet habe ist aber denke ich recht "international" es sollen jetzt aber noch andere Sachen kommen, wo ich dann quatsch da denke ich starte ich mit Englisch, mal schauen wie das angenommen wird.

Parting with a slitting saw works so much better than with an endmill and you also need much less raw material

Servus, das sind tatsächliche Teile aus dem Tagesgeschäft. Ich darf die Teile zeigen weil der Kunde die Videos bekommt :) Aber über den eigentichen Kunden etc. kann ich so leider selbst nix sagen

Die Zerspanungsgeschwindigkeit ist schon beachtlich, die Oberflächenqualität kriegst aber besser hin beim Schlichten, probier für bessere Oberflächen mal von Garant die Universal MTC Fräser (202392), Maßhaltig und fast schon spiegelnde Oberflächen erzielen wir damit bei ebenfalls hohen Vorschüben ;) Schöne Grüße aus dem schönen München :D

Servus! Danke für den Tipp mit dem Fräser ich schau mal, dass ich einen herbekomme. Ich muss aber sagen, dass ich mit der Maßhaltigkeit des Master Steel extrem zufrieden bin auch bei den sehr langen Auskragungen. Die Flächen werden auch besser, sobald ich Wasser verwende :)

in solidcam it is the basic 5x simultan Job with a projection as tool path.

Wie die letzten Male auch, Top Video! Aber warum alle Werkzeuge von Garant? M.M.n. viel zu teuer für die gebotene Leistung. VHM ist meist ok bzw. es gibt einige "Schmankerl", aber alles andere ist enttäuschend. Kaufe zu 98% nur noch SECO - sind zwar teuer, aber die Performance und Prozesssicherheit sind herausragend, bearbeiten aber auch fast nur Stahl (von S355 bis HSS) und VA.

Vielen Dank! Irgendwie bin ich bei Hoffmann hängen geblieben, ich bin mir sicher, dass es viele andere Hersteller / Händler gibt die gleichwertige und wahrscheinlich auch bessere Produkte zum gleichen / günstigeren Preis haben. Aber mein Hauptgrund war / ist der Außendienst. Mein Außendienstler und auch mein AT sind wirklich mega! Sowohl menschlich wie auch vom Know-how bisher konnten die zwei jedes Problem bei mir Lösen und deswegen bin ich noch bei denen :)

man if I were you I would dig into the built in tool change macro to get rid of some of that wasted motion every tool change, the hop up in Z is pretty annoying >_

Servus Florian! Derzeit sind es noch Kundenteile aus der laufenden Fertigung (ist mit dem Kunden abgesprochen) aber es kann sein ich stell das irgendwann mal um, damit ich die 3d daten auch rausgeben könnte.

@@BavariaCNC Why do you say it is not a post error? It seems some of the movements have full retract in Z moves, while others use tcp linking moves, while some use nothing (no link, no retract). The post does not handle this for you? Or you have to tell it which type of linking move to use?

@@GRTLRS Normally I just use full Z retract, but I wanted to be fancy in the video and I used an option to tell how much Z travel I can use and well my suggestion of how much way I need was not that good :)
