Just Machining - 07
In this video I will show you the CNC machining process of an aluminum part including some iMachinig Jobs and a nice 5x chamfering at the end
The part will completely done in one setup. The cutted surfaces needed to be pretty rough as it will be coated with rubber.
⚠️ Please do not mill / drill / cut aluminum dry! This is just for video reasons and will kill your tools and parts. ⚠️

That hole being blasted at 5000mm/min. I could watch that all day long. lol I had to edit this. So I get to the end and realize that the blasted hole was the finished product. It was in spec! I don't think my very modified Syil can do that with its 3.5kw 18000 rpm spindle.
@BavariaCNC
@BavariaCNC 3 жыл бұрын
the sad thing is, before you realize what is going on the hole is done :) good thing, you can watch it twice :)) and yes 3,5KW may be not enough, I think it took me around 40% spindle load (20KW spindle) and your machine should be pretty stable

@BavariaCNC
@BavariaCNC 3 жыл бұрын

Since the table has to tilt, it doesn't look like the tool changer is far enough away from the table to get creative with oversize parts and make use of the space available. There's a lot of X travel space between the A Axis supports for various stuff, and odd shaped parts. Being limited to essentially just the table diameter kinda sucks.

I can see a rough textured finish would help the keying of epoxy glue for a better bond. The movement of the job as the cutter broke through the left side worried me. In another vid you cut 48% through from both sides, which seemed more stable...
