My best friends brother was hiking in Mark Twain last year when something began paralleling him. He decided to retreat to his car. On his way out something blew by him at great speeds, he said it was a blur. As it went by he was smacked on his back. He remembered having the air knocked outta him. He later decided to be checked out and the ER doc said that his lung on his left side was severely bruised. They kept him over night. Myself and his brother went to see him the next morning and got to see his back. He told us he was wearing layers that day in the woods, he had on a t shirt, a Henley style long sleeve under an insulated flannel and a Patagonia vest over that. Basically he was padded to some extent, still the external bruising was insane. When he lifted his hospital gown up for us to see, you could clearly make out what appeared to be large finger imprints that were the size of bananas and a palm imprint the size of a paper plate. You could see where the creatures arm hit as well. Long story short, whatever hit him was not playing around and likely intended to end him. He doesn’t remember actually walking outta the woods, the parts he does remember are very vague although he has a recollection of being very very scared thinking he was going to die. I believe he was hit so hard that it in fact Did knock the wind out of him, it disoriented him and caused him to feel sick. Maybe a higher power helped him get to his car that day, I don’t know. I do know that he’s very lucky and I truly believe he was on the menu. To this day he refuses to discuss his attack that day. He won’t go to the woods and he won’t even entertain the idea that a possible Sasquatch ran up and attacked him. He says we (his brother and I) are nuttier than pet coins for thinking it. In his mind a transient or bum attacked him, he in no way believes it was anything else yet he deceived the speed as if it was a marvel comic book villain with super human powers running by him. He said it felt like he was hit by a car. You can say he is in denial or that he has been programmed to believe humans are the apex predator in the woods but his brother and I know different, we saw the marks on his back. This story has never made it to a podcast or you tube channel because he fears people thinking he’s crazy. He’s rather call us crazy and sweep it under the rug.

Did you manage to take a photo of his injury, or better yet did he permit you or anyone else to take a photo? What were the doctor's thoughts are what caused this injury? It's a crazy story, glad he fully recovered. Has it affected his breathing in the long term? If it was a sasquatch, they're very fast, it's probably why it's so hard to get a proper picture unless someone has a camcorder or the video running on their cell on a gimbal or whatever.

Early in my 20's we lived in southern Oregon. We had a friend that was a logger. He was sort of wild care free person. On day he came over and her was really different. He has seen a Big Foot that day. I had never seen anybody so afraid and that changed him forever.

My brother had an encounter with Bigfoot recently while driving his semi truck . He described as 7 to 8 foot tall massive creature. It was trying to cross the road to get what looked like deer carcass. My brother said it looked right at him and his face looked humanoid like . We always believed Bigfoot and dogman existed. There are so many dogman encounters too especially recently but that creature really creeps me out . If anyone is interested go to dogman encounters channel here on KZbin and there are hundreds and hundreds of people give interviews about their encounters from all walks of life . There are some crazy and scary stories . Let's just say I will never look at the woods the same again. Bigfoot doesn't scare me but dogman I hope I never see one.

When I did a journey to the Taman Negara rainforest district of Malaysia I asked our tour guide who grew up around this area about the Orang Pendek, a supposedly small hominid covered in fur. He told me the story of a soldier of the Malaysian army who got lost and injured but apparently he recieved help from the Orang Pendeks... stories hardly to be checked upon, but nice to think there might be more than what reveales itself out in the open.

Of course no bigfoot experience has ever been verified. It's hard to get credible verificatn on something that does not exist. You may have seen a bear standing on hind legs--that is proven. There has never been a shred of credible bigfoot evidence and there never will be. Instead there will be sightings, embellished stories and hoaxer scams. Sometimes it worries me that people think bigfoot is real.

Great video! You really take the time to research your topics. I live in Walla Walla, WA and have spent a lot of time mostly 4-wheeling in the mountains just minutes from home. I've never seen a Bigfoot but I have smelled one when I was up there. I mentioned it to Paul Freeman (who was a Bigfoot expert here) and he said they (he and his group) were up in the mountains the same time we smelled it chasing one. I actually agree with the trans-dimensional theory. And not just for Bigfoot. I think many other of these mythical creatures and even aliens have something to do with multiple dimension. After watching the movie "Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind" I believe many creatures are able to travel this way. It helps explain so many mysteries.

Funny you mentioned turning into a ball of light. Les Stroud did his Bigfoot series and witnessed these balls of light. Also Dave Paulides went to the vortex house in MO and the owner apparently has video of light morphing into one. Fascinating stuff.

I’m on the fence when it comes to believing in Sasquatch. My question for those that are so sure it doesn’t exist is...how do you write off thousands of encounters around the world, some deep in the forests, as being people in a suit? To me, that explanation sounds more ridiculous than Bigfoot existing. I can see if most sightings were near towns or cities how that could be a possibility, but most are not. Think about how difficult it would be to pull a stunt like that off. Also, someone in a gilly suit wouldn’t be as stealth as many witnesses have described Bigfoot being. Steve Isdahl says that non-believers believe in the gilly suit theory out of fear. They’re scared of the unknown and the possibility that Sasquatch are really out there because it would disrupt their reality, causing them to never hike, hunt, fish, or camp ever again, so they don’t want to believe. I agree.

Not to mention that anyone running around in a suit trying to fool people are really asking to get shot. The skeptics tend to be brutal, and often insult the intelligence, or at the least the basic abilities, of many people to identify something. I mean ya, a lot of sightings I'm sure are misidentification. But not all. Many very experienced outdoorsmen, park rangers, guides, police, etc who know a lot about the woods and things are told they simply don't know what they're talking about. I even saw one skeptic insisting to a lifelong hunter who'd had a sighting that, because there was some distance between them, that he merely saw a raccoon or squirrel when the hunter swore he didn't see a bear! I mean, come on! That is so insulting. The guy clearly said it was very large, walking upright like a person (but not quite like a person), seemed o have really long arms, hair all over it, and walked with a strange, bent-leg gait. But ya, he just saw a squirrel!!! Trust me, I believe there are so many things out there that humans don't know yet and may never know. Some stuff that is just beyond us. But somehow as a species we've become so arrogant to think that if something doesn't fit into our "norms", and if we can't explain it, see it, find it, do it, or replicate it than it is nonsense and not real. The higher ups hide a LOT from us that they want to keep under wraps. And not just gov't. Many museums, universities, and definitely the Church keep things that may make people question what they've taught us are hidden away very quickly.

The sulfur smell is a defense like a skunk. If you in the woods & smell it, you should I am sorry, I am leaving now. They don’t have to dispel that scent. I have Sasquatch living in my woods & see & hear them all the time. They are highly intelligent & if they like you, they will help you, protect you. They are really wonderful & have many languages they use. They do understand English. Yes, they can disappear in a ball of light. The light is their essence. I heard a five minute stretch of what sounded like a violent domestic dispute with only female voices. It literally sounded like someone being murdered! I was one of three people who heard it. I grabbed my shotgun and dog and ran towards the sound. I didn’t find so much as a scuff mark in the area the sounds were coming from although my dog was not happy with the smell. This occurred pretty far out in the cascades in Oregon.

Many people who are not Christian have real experiences with these things. They are real creatures that have not been catalogued yet and I'm sure that's being held off by the gov't because if they allow us to find out they are real there would be a world of backlash for several reasons, and also there would be huge financial losses they don't want to deal with. Not to mention potential panic from scared people. It's fine to have a faith, but I dislike when some people literally lump anything that their bible doesn't consider basically god himself or an angel as something evil, demonic, satanic, something that "is deceiving or fooling you".... just no. Brian I have to say you're theory on the cave dwelling sasquatch is very interesting and not so far-fetched. There are some underground cave systems that have entire water ways through them which have no beginning or end and scientists have been trying to track where they go or come from with no luck. They have also constantly been discovering tremendous amounts new life forms that we are just learning about. Mostly vegetation and bugs but certainly enough to sustain life in a subterranean environment. Great work on all your stories!

I liked your presentation. Sasquatch is a topic I've been interested in my whole life. Your theory about them living underground is unique; I had not heard that idea before. Now on the Patterson film, to my knowledge, that still remains the best video evidence and it has not been able to be debunked. I feel there are very few of them left and they want to be left alone.

It's not his theory...BF living underground. It's been around a long time. That's how they think it appears in areas you wouldn't expect to see one. Like Kansas. The clusters of missing hikers and hunters, also corresponds with the cave/tunnel system. Have you not heard of David Paullides Channel and The CanAm Project or seen the documentaries here on YT? 411 The Missing and 411 The Hunted...at the end of it ...is the Sierra Sounds. Supposedly several BF's talking back and forth while the hunters are inside their shelter ready to shoot their way out. They never saw anything, just heard it. Well they did see a ball of light moving thru the forest after one of the nights they heard the "talking" They were at least 8 miles into the Sierras by horseback, going to their hidden, private hunting camp. At night they became aware of something surrounding them. Then the very strange sounds started.

I later heard about the idea of underground caves and pits as a possible explanation for missing hikers on a different channel (that video was not related to BF). Yes, I have heard of Missing 411 but have not really gotten into that channel...it seemed topically intriguing but when I checked out one video maybe a year ago it seemed to suggest some far fetched ideas and seemed not scientifically based. Just my reaction. So back to my original comment to Bryan's Mysteries. I thought it was an interesting concept but tbh, it doesn't seem credible at all. I can see underground cave systems and tunnels explaining disappearing hikers, but not sustaining large hominids. Mind you, I believe BF exists. I have studied the topic for years, and I don't claim to be anymore expert than the next guy but I have never heard this idea of them living underground in any scientifically based book or TV documentary, which are my preferred sources. I appreciate the conversation!

I'll share some but not all of my people's knowledge regarding the "First People". They are both physical and spiritual beings that move between two parallels. I note that a significant number of professional people with high integrity have given him personal accounts. And ... the footprints show the big toe being naturall spread out vs. feet using shoes. How to Hunt advice? Never go into the woods alone.

A good way to work out if they exist, dress up like one and find a bear and see how it reacts to you, if the bear runs off in fear then maybe they could be real, but if you get attacked by the bear then maybe not. If Bigfoot is real then it would have to be above the bear in the pecking order which would mean the bears will be aware of them and would avoid the confrontation!

My uncle is an old school no nonsense kind of man. An avid Pennsylvania outdoorsman all his life. He swears he seen one while out hunting one time. He immediately turned around and walked home white as a ghost. He's not the type of person to BS about stuff like that. Even if it was a rare black bear sighting for the area, he would've known the difference. I've seen UFO's myself. So I don't personally find it all that crazy. I'm just hesitant to believe 99% of the information out there on this kind of stuff because I don't think anyone truly understands any of it. If they do, they ain't telling anybody. It's probably some wild shit beyond our current comprehension that we're not entitled to know just yet. One day I hope we will be though.

The big question regarding evidence is something one scientist (can’t remember who sorry) asked, where are the remains? What happens when they die? Even if they have the ability to hide or disappear at least one over the hundreds of years would die of an accident and be found but nothing whatsoever makes it hard to believe.

Theres a famous encounter where some gold miners fended off an entire group of them in the pacific northwest in the 1800s i think. Maybe early early 1900s? Im not sure but they said it was alot.

I've seen one of these creatures in Potter County, Pennsylvania during the mid-80s. It was one of the scariest moments of my entire life and I'll never forget it. I also never want to see one again. I'm actually reading a John Green book for probably the 20th time, right now. Some eyewitness accounts may seem ridonkulous, but after you've seen one for yourself, you'd be surprised how quickly your perception of the whole subject can change.

A subterranean dweller is a possibility to account for the awful odor emitted from by the bigfoot. In the show Expedition Bigfoot the primatologist, in that show says that male primates have a strong odor and the female don't have that foul smell. It's also believed they it might be from the male glands to signify a warning or a stress response, who knows but these are interesting aspects.

I believe in the Pacific Northwest Big foot….there are men / people kinds that live alone….very Alone, and want no contact with humanness at all….whether it comes from Indian provenance or other…I just think that. The others I feel are more strange, if true…..maybe folk lore. Sulphuric smell from where they live is definitely possible.
