I understand a spouse supporting the person in which they vowed to stay w/"for better or worse" and if he did nothing legally wrong I wouldn't want to criticize him as they share children together and the glare of the spotlight will only get more intense when she goes to trial. But she has to face justice for faking a racially motivated kidnapping hoax. And she was quite capable of plotting the details of the entire hoax so I hope her lawyers don't play her to be some sort of victim in all this. I'm tired of people committing crimes and using mental illness to dodge being accountable.

I believe in most of these cases there is something that didn't go right in their childhood. I can't imagine seeing my daughter spiral down in such a way, and it's one of my biggest fears that she will be troubled and make really bad decisions that are compounded by fear and more bad choices. There really is just a scared and often wounded child in all of us and it's a tragedy when things like this happen. That being said she has to pay the consequences.

@George Curious I'm not sure that really matters to me. The level of tracking and data harvesting that we have reached using cell phones, apps, and other devices is pretty absurd and disgustingly intrusive. If people want to be able to use a cell phone without being tracked everywhere they go, or with every call and text that they make, that should be within their rights. People have a right to privacy. And a burner phone only provides a tiny extra layer of privacy. Criminals still get tracked and busted through burner phones all the time. If criminals use burner phones to sell drugs or commit whatever other crimes, the police already have plenty of other tools to investigate and enforce the law. Burner phones are also helpful for people who can't afford, or don't want, a monthly contract that they are obligated to. I have known a lot of low income college students and single parents who had to use burner phones for years before becoming more financially stable. One of the most frustrating things about that was that it seemed like those people had a new phone number every couple months, or every year or so.

Love your videos but one thing i wsnt to say. It doesn't matter wjat the poluce (or FBI) tell you. They'll tell you that your looking at some massive sentence when your crime could be a misdemeanor, they'll say thry have a witness or evidence or CCTV and know you did something when they have nothing but a hunch (sometimes not even that), they will promoise to talk to the judge for you (police have no power over what the judge does, sure they can say yoy cooperated or resisted or neither but it has minimal effect on outcome most of the time). They will say they're giving you the chance to come clean and "help yourself out", they may even pretrnd that your not a suspect but are helping them figure out who is. Don't believe a word of any of it. Cops are not your friends, they're working and do their job is to close cases period. They are legally allowed to lie, bluff, intimidate and do so on a regular basis, and the best cops are very good at it. Why? Because it works! The majority of peoole conviced in the US were convicted with evidence or testimony theat they themselves provided to police so they could "help themseves" right into a prison cell. Follow what every lawyer preaches; don't talk to the cops, refuse warntless searches (if they are asking they already suspect you of something or just have a hunch), if they call you to come in for a talke refuse (you have no obligation to talk to them ever), decline polygraphs and field breath anaysis test (mandate blood only if it suspected), and if you are being detained shut your mouth and wait for a lawyer. The 5th exist for a reason, and i can assure you talking is much more likely to harm you regardless of how careful yoy think you are being, and regareless of how smart yoy are you are unlikely to convince anyone who interogates and reads body language as the career of anything with some brilliant words from yohr mouth. Refusing to talk is exactly what she should have done. The results of this case speaks for itself, even if everything else she did was dumb and wrong to begin with, the ex was the weak leak. Telling the FBI early would not have helped her. Having had a smarter partner with a stronger resolve is what she needed to exceed (and a better plan). Her ex was still the weake leak.

Once those ideas are out there in the population, even though we know it was a fabrication, some people will not know it was a lie and may continue to be racially prejudiced. Unfortunately, so many people don’t think about anything beyond their own selves, because they live on an unconscious level. Everyone lives in their own little world with their own agenda…she just took it too far.

When the story first came out, there was just something that didn’t feel right. I didn’t believe it & when I commented back when the story first came out, a lot of people attacked my words. Now I hope they’re eating all the bad words they said to me. She should get a lot of time for not only lying but also blaming hispanic women. That should be the main charge. I dont feel sorry for her because she didn’t care about what she put her children, husband & family through. Not to mention all the hours of searching, time & money. And her & her husband spent all the money they received. Her husband is a fool if he truly is still with her. She should be very ashamed of herself!! She put her family through hell & all that time she was with her ex. How shameful!!
