I appreciate that while this mod is absolutely bonkers with its difficulty and enemy placements the mod designer has, so far, adjusted health values of some of the REALLY tough enemy encounters. Where the bosses like the Verdugo popping up in surprise areas having much lower HP values than the standard game, or the guns doing more damage to compensate for the added challenge. One of the two

I love the fact that you're enjoying this much more than Rising of Evil. To my untrained, Normal-Mode-Playthrough ass, this mod looks to be very challenging, but also relatively low on the BS. A skilled player can survive with quick reflexes and strategy rather than RNG.

The first time I had a problem is at the checkpoint in Chapter 6, that was wild, but still doable with the right loop strategy. It started to get dumb in the Knight Room in the Castle when it drops 2 Garradors in with 6 Knights. It starts to turn into more of a RNG slog than skill, especillay on a 1st playthrough. The U3 (Pesanta Fight) is ridiculous but if you focus on Novi's until they stop spawning its fine. Same thing with Salazar, the spider Plaga's need to be dealt with first or they will just gang up on you. 8/10 for the Mod it is a lot of fun in many places, but in some spots it turns more into just cheesy bullshit that you need to get lucky with.

@@newpanda5982 Uninstall all mods, if you’re using more than Berserker. Then select reread Game Archives. Turn Berserker Mod back on after, and then whatever else and see if it works. Make sure you turn in Mods slowly. You may have turned one on that conflicts with it, make sure you look for the red text at the top of the mod launcher window if it happens. If it still doesn’t work then go into Steam and then properties or game files and select verify integrity of game files. Itll take a while if it needs to fix anything. But after that you should be good to use the mods again. Berserker just got an update on Nexus and it will fall under the Misc Tab in Fluffy.

This mod was a blast, more fun and balanced than most recent Nightmare versions which have you die in one hit to almost literally everything. I actually played it with Relentless Enemies which makes it even more unforgiving but I'd still recommend for those who enjoy enemies that don't sit still.
