I have the same boiler type, but instead of black levers i have black knobs? how would i repressurise it?

Of it looks exactly the same as this boiler, it would be the same way. If it doesn't look the same, it might have a different type of filling loop. Maybe a braided hose type

How would you then let some pressure out?

The easiest ways are: 1. Bleed a radiator into a jug 2. Open a drain off valve with a hose attached or jug/bowl underneath it
