Thank you! You just saved us from a very cold night. Video was so straightforward, I thought I may have missed the complicated bits😂. It's 1:30am and we're now off to bed in a warm house. 🎉

Moved in my home 6 weeks ago and this morning the boiler was not working. Boiler was serviced when we arrived and gas safety certificate was given as we're renting. Anyhow, no problems til now and it's Sat morning, these things always happen at the awkward times. So hubby is at work and I'm a mum with a 11 yr daughter and 18 son. I turned to Google and found your video clip. Flashing E119 and followed by the word your instructions. I've been left the silver loop so I can locate the taps. I listen for the water and watch the pressure go up to just below 2. It's working. YESS!!! X LOL Thankyou for the help. Never met you but you've saved the day x

Probably

potterton promax combi he plus is what i have in Scotland. Video is correct but on my system its a bit different the flexible tubes are vertical. i noticed the valve only needs turned slightly as the pressure increases very fast and did as the video said and fixed the problem! i was so afraid id break it lol so two valves need opened and one fully opened and one only slightly and you see the bar increase. I would be careful not to turned the valve all the way open you may end up with a flooded system ? anyways Thanks for a good video and saved me a lot of trouble :) John 3:16-21

Great video you explained things well. I'm having problems turning one of the taps, is there a tool you can recommend?
@BooklessT4 жыл бұрын
Just a hint. I have a Potterton titanium combi boiler. The two valves at the end of the re-pressurising loop are knurled knobs rather than valves with a 'blade' type of handle as in the video. I spent a while looking for the wrong ones...The important part is that the valves are the furthest away from the wall and closest to the control panel.

Hi I have the potterman promax.. I have the error e119 coming up the pressure is at 0. Trouble is I don't have any valves to turn under the boiler like yours.. I have 2 black valves at the back the same as yours, but they don't do anything that's the only 2 I have.. so confusing.. Do you know what else I could do?
