Hi Bayley - this is a terrific series. I also like keeping track to make sure I’m actually using the items I bring into my home. This month I bought new prescription glasses, a fancy towel bar for my bathroom, new walking shoes, and leather gloves for doing work in the garden.

I just bought a book from the only second hand book shop in town! I've been trying really hard to read what I have and borrow etc but it's such a lovely shop and the lady there had this great chat with my daughter. I'd hate to see it close so very happy to support her.

I’m looking forward to seeing the sweater. The yarn looks so nice with those flecks of colour.

I said I would record what I bought, but I totally forgot! Off the top of my head: new prescription glasses (expensive but necessary!) and some new wooden DPNs, stitch markers and small tapestry needles, so I can get serious about sock knitting! I’m very proud of myself for not buying any yarn. I’m working from stash now to save up for September. Then I’ll go to a large yarn show/market and treat myself. I will record this month, starting today where I bought some things for my small vegetable and fruit garden.

I love these videos, and I’m looking forward to the boys capsule wardrobe video. I have two little ones and I’m trying not to just over buy clothes at the moment!

Good morning Bayley! So happy to see your video pop up this morning! I’m here in Kuwait with a nice coffee and my knitting for a little of self-loving before going to work. Such a treat! Have a fab day ❤

I so enjoy your videos. Maybe I’ll start recording my purchases also. I’m not good at that and some months I spend too much. Thanks

That yarn looks amazing - and I love that it contains "leftovers" - anxious to see the sweater. How would yo feel about giving us a small review on the books?

I think I’ll do this in April ,just because I feel my spending is out of control.I agree on supporting book stores ,this month I’ve had free books from swaps ,thrifted and as we were visiting a huge bookstore whilst in a city treated myself to a book there ,( oh and I have an audible subscription) 😊

I'm keeping track of spending along with cash envelopes. it does keep me more accountable and I like using cash for most things. Great video, thanks for keeping it real.

Hi Hayley I love your videos. Could you show us the amazing interlocking castle your husband built for the boys? I keep telling my husband about it and he would like to build one for our child. That would be awesome!

It is good to buy things that have to do with your creativity. I love that. Keep up the great work. Reading is so much fun. I love doing it. Those look like they are in great shape for thrifted books! -(formerly) JusticePirate

Make sure your saving 30% of your You Tube payment for taxes it's classed as income as a self employment.

Yes, I have to pay taxes on my you tube income and from the sales of my project bags too. Luckily for me both are quite small so it’s not a large bill at the end of each year.

Ok. I’m committed to doing a video about this in May….do you have rules with what you share? I have a birthday this month (and every month haha). I am hoping this will help me be FAR more picky with what I buy. 😰🫣 I hope it helps me buy less. 🙏

Hi, Yay I can’t wait to watch your video in May!I don’t show gifts I buy for other people and I’m not sure if I’ll show the boys capsule wardrobe in this kind of video. It’s just the things that I choose to buy for myself that aren’t necessities. I have almost finished a video showing all of the groceries I buy over a two week period, filming it definitely changed the way I shopped. I am under budget for the first time in ages! 😅😂
