LECTURE SUMMARY AND TIMESTAMPS :) A dispute broke out between Jah, a servant of Omar from Makkah, and a man from Medina, Sinan, at a well, resulting in Jah kicking Sinan, and the situation escalated into a potential fight between the Muhajirun (migrants from Makkah) and the Ansar (people of Medina) 02:48. The Prophet Muhammad advised the people to "leave it" and not indulge in the argument, as the words used were "disgusting" and could lead to division among Muslims 05:43. A man, Abdullah, gave a speech to the Ansar, calling the Muhajirun "dogs" and saying they were only in Medina for the Ansar's money and charity, and that the Ansar should stop giving them aid 08:12. A young boy, Zayd, overheard Abdullah's speech and reported it to his uncle, who then informed the Prophet Muhammad and Omar about Abdullah's words 09:26. A child named Zaid informed the Prophet Muhammad about a man, Abdullah ibn Ubayy, who was spreading discord among the Muslim army, but the Prophet chose not to punish him despite Omar's suggestion to kill him for treason 10:16. Abdullah ibn Ubayy denied the allegations and swore his innocence, but the Prophet didn't argue with him and instead told him to leave 12:22. The child Zaid felt sad and cried, thinking the Prophet didn't believe him, but later Allah revealed a Surah (chapter) in the Quran that proved Zaid was telling the truth, and the Prophet recited it to him before anyone else 14:56. The Surah was revealed to care for the sentiments of the child Zaid and to teach lessons about the softness of the heart and sincerity in one's intentions 15:08.

I’m working women. professionally I’m Md from pakistan living currently north america became a doctor here very hard with 4 kids never worked for 12 year once kids started to going school than start working as a cardiac sonographer now I’m very confused I wear hijab at my work place I let door open while doing male echo before starting this career I never realized that males should be involved, I thought so many time to quit job but my husband has so many dept on him my husband can’t financially support whole family we divided responsibilities together, please let me know what should I do.

The children of Adam are forgetful, and that's why we always repent. And Allah loves those who repent and He's the most merciful. As long as you're sincere and now don't promise in Allah's name you won't do it, but try your best NOT to do it. And Allah knows best.

Yes your repentance will be accepted because you made such a commitment in excitement. Allah is not bound by your decision anyway, Allah knows well that you just said that in excitement. Seek the forgiveness of Allah and don't make such commitments next time
