Mate the metal pins in kit have half a head to allow the holding tool in with pulling the knobs off the pd pins

Don't need to slacken the cam or fuel pump even though the manual says to. Can just leave that top roller off, loop the belt round and slide over the water pump then push the belt down and re-fit the roller 👍

The reason you do it like this is to get the right tension on the belt... I'll stick to slacking the pulleys off

@@mikeprada1677 if your hp pump and cam pulley are locked and fix, the belt will not tension correctly. When the tensioner is set, the belt might be slack from the HP to WP and crankshaft pulley.

Hi, nice video, just one question. The bolts from engine mount. When I am doing this on golf 5 in the vw manual, says they are only for one use. They are stretched bolts and after removing neads new. Thanks
